Haha thanks guys!

The foam cannon definitely makes washing your car a bit more fun then the traditional 2-3 bucket system. If I have some spare time to wash the rides this weekend I'll take a video if not I'm pretty sure there's a few on YouTube.

If you guys want the cannon you can PM me with what type pressure washer you have and I can order you one.

@Travis; other than it being entirely badass, what are the functional advantages of this system? I may need to pick one up lol

Well it's kind of the same concept as the Gilmore but this has a higher concentration of suds (depending on quality of soap used) so the soap lingers on the paint longer allowing more dirt to be lifted off the surface before you start washing. This type of pre-treating allows for a safer and cleaner washing experience. This system also excels when trying to strip previous waxes off the paint using a cleanser shampoo like chem guys citrus wash and clear. The really only downfall to this product is that all your neighbors will be super jealous and want to "try it out" or "borrow" haha.

I still pre treat things like bugs and bird shit with dilute apc before spraying.

I'll snap a couple pics of my entire setup for your reference.

I wax my wheels as well. I use two layers, one of paint sealant (which is a 100% chemical wax, I use Chemical Guys JetSeal 109) and some automotive wax such as Meguiar's, Collinite, and so on, any quality wax will work.

If the wheels have a layer of clear coat on them you can wax them and this will keep away a lot of the brake dust and road grime. Do NOT wax wheels which have a porous paint, the wax will leave white stains on it because it will not be removed from those pores.

I only have to use a power jet to clean them, basically the entire car will look clean just after rinsing it with a power jet if the paint is properly waxed (of course, it will NOT be actually clean until it will be de-greased wither with active foam or a shampoo, but at least you will be able to get off the car without looking like a hippopotamus who just had fun in a puddle of mud).

I'm glad to see there are people still preoccupied and passionate about how their car looks, not only how it drives.

Nice read... I like to use a electric leaf blower to get most of the water off my car.
