Default DW65c Series Fuel Pump question

Hey guys, I've been wanting to upgrade my fuel pump and I've seen a lot of options, from upgrading your Fuel Pump completely to upgrading the internals as well, but has anyone heard of the DW65c series drop in fuel pump? I don't know if its any good, due to the fact that its price is a lot cheaper then the other two options, but I can get it here locally and was wondering if it was any good. Here's the link:DeatschWerks DW65c Series Fuel Pump w/ Install Kit Multiple Models (inc. 2008-2011 EVO X / 2007-2012 Mazdaspeed3) at RallySportDirect.com

Wrong pump. We have 2 pumps. CDFP and ITFP. The dw replaces the ITFP. You want internals for the cam shaft driven fuel pump, not in tank fuel pump.

Oh I see, that makes more sense and explains the difference in the price, I'll just go with the Internals and have at it thanks!

Definitely a great choice, excellent customer service!

Also, you should look into PT-Performance's fuel internals. They have the best reviews. I myself have autotech internals, and because they're customer service is so great I won't be swapping them unless for some reason, they won't honor the warranty. And I've never heard of them not doing that.
Always keep receipt and warranty card for every part.

http://www.pt-performance.com/showPr...l7cegrbvb7pdi4
^and if you don't feel comfortable installing the internals by yourself, here is a video link to show you how:

these links will help you in taking out the fuel pump itself. It's very simple. -
and

- for when you have the fuel pump taken out.

(either ask someone near you with a speed 3 that knows how or use this link:
http://www.pt-performance.com/showPr...l7cegrbvb7pdi4

Also take a look at pt-performance's high pressure fuel rail valve, because the OEM one seems to have problems holding fuel pressure on a lot on vehicles that have upgraded fuel internals. I am actually having that problem now and I only have about 5000 miles on my autotech fuel internals, and I have only run 93 octane pump gas on my gen1 with only 47,000 miles on it.

These guys are right.

You won't see much performance gain from a DW65c alone. It just happened to be a drop-in fitment pump for the in-tank fuel pump assembly.

It's good info to keep in your back pocket incase you need to replace your in-tank pump. It's a good bit cheaper than what Mazda charges for one.

there are also a lot of how to's with pictures all over the forum. fuel internals are well worth the purchase if you have a cobb accessport to tune your vehicle once it's installed.
