Mazda3Mods Meth Install

Ok, so I went out and bought this kit with a local brother GSRTYPE1! lol

Well, fuck it, I bought a meth kit yesterday and went to Mazda3Mods shop to get it installed, as I knew David would do a quality job the way I wanted it.

We got the tank in the usual position on the side of the cabin in the trunk. However, the unique part of the install goes to the pump. We hid it in the jacks spot in the car. You can check out the blury pics from my phone and see the install. IMO, its a super clean install. These were pics during the install, the finished product has wire wrap over the feed hose, so its hidden.

Thanks to David over at M3M for the install and all the help. We got the kit installed in about an hour and still made it to the local meet tonight!!!

i heard that the pump is loud when its on. Is that true and can u hear it enough to not want it in your car?

Also how is the meth line ran from the trunk to the nozzle?

can't hear it at all.. Well atleast I can't lol. It's far and covered so I really couldn't tell u. Some people say they can here it (I think it's all mental)

im just not sure the best way to route the meth line from the trunk to the engine bay.

Now that is a nice looking install.

You can run the lines down with the fuel lines.

Oh oh and what would also be nice? Add a couple more feet of the meth tube. So that people that do run it from the back like so have enough lol. We ran out and had to go to home depot for some ice machine tube lol and it worked so well lol

Yea, phone pics always look ok in the phone but usually never good out of it. You should do what i do. For my wifes b.d. i got here a nice camera. So i can borrow it as needed

Yeah I like to have stealthy installs. It's the best way to go!

I'm going to run the tube were the meth flows a little more hidden in a little. And see if I van make an compartment for it.

Like where the tank is at right now but cut an identical shape into the fabric and make a door for it and cut a hole for the lid up top so I can just pop it up and fill her up =)

where did you hide the tank? or did you just use the windshield fluid reservoir? I was thinking a making a new driverside trunk panel that I could mount the tank behind.

i mounted my pump under the trunk cover next to spare tire. didnt have to remve anything like the jack or spare and the cover goes back on perfectly. will post pics later only have camera phone pics

I used that spot cause my jack broke while I was in the process of lifting the car up =(

I would have to hunt down pictures of it but basically the entire setup was under the hood. tank and all. The battery was located in the trunk so everything else got put in the engine bay with some custom brackets and whatnot.
