| Not Ranked : 0 score Oh boy. The car has 2 pumps. One in the tank which is what the DW65C replaces and the cam driven one in the engine bay. That is the one that everyone refers to when they talk about HPFP and FP internals. The cam driven one is what you need to upgrade to go to stage 2. Hell even at stage 1 you should. You can get upgraded internals with autotech, kmd or ptp. Or you can save yourself a step in the install and purchase the entire pump with upgraded internals from cp-e.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Some on here might disagree with me but I regard the itfp as a lift pump and it only has to flow enough volume to supply the cdfp. Every pump out there pumps alot more fuel at lower pressures, I have seen no evidence whatsoever that the factory itfp cannot flow enough fuel to max the fuel line to the engine at lower pressures. I would bet that ~40psi is sufficient to supply the cdfp without cavitation. I think this pump is a fantastic drop in upgrade for a broken itfp, but I dont think it holds any performance value for us. Fotibear85 likes this.
