Your mix? (please read this).

Hey guys, we have been playing with WI for a good amount of time now and what I have found out is there is very little with the DI motors that relates over to the conventional injection (duh).

For the past 3 years we have been running a 80/20 mix for the SRT4N, this has worked very well for most applications that need some fuel in-richment with just the right amount of knock protection from the H2O. I have installed many brand x kits and we have been tuning with that mix for quite some time. Well this mix doesn't work very well in the MS3. I have to assume that its the DI motor not liking the additional fuel that the meth adds.

So what I am getting at is would you like to see a custom mix of meth for your application based on %'s.

We would be looking at getting 20/80 to 80/20 custom mixes done up for you guys. This would be a mix to order type of deal and we would be using distilled water with every mix and we will be including a "pump conditioner" with it as well.

Reason for this, we have seen stock cars work wonders with a 40/60 mix.
Boost rasied stock turbos seem to like the 50/50 mix
SST boosted applications seem to like the 60/40 mix
I could only guess that the big turbo guys cars like a 80/20 mix

It seems that the higher the HP you go the more meth the car likes. We would bill per bottle based on the % of mix that you have selected (more meth, more money).

Depends on the mix ratios you order. I would have to say around $7.00 for your basic 20/80 mix and as high as $18.00 for your 80/20 mixes. I have not checked on the higher mix pricing but the basic mix would be cheap.

Shipping "meth" is very dangerous and you have to ship it ground only (costs a ton more as well). If you keep it "non flamable" then shipping rules change. Not sure if the 80/20 mix is going to fly but we can figure something out with that. Pure meth, very expensive to ship.

That's why I asked my first question, I knew the mix allowed through regular shipping is low. Meth is some crazy shit. They should include a fire extinguisher with the kit. I have my hazmat book from work with me I'm going to start a thread on the hazards of meth, and no not how drinking it is bad for you, it is but wtf how stupid can you be.

best stuff I have ran in my car was snow performance boost juice.
Ive been mixing a few different percentages over the past 3 weeks and without a doubt, the 49/51 boost juice was the best as bringing down my BAT's
no idea why what I am running now wouldnt be as effective considering the percentages are the same, but clearly its not by looking at my logs

snow performance is dyed red, so if someone can prove to me that a blue dye molecule is larger than a red dye molecule I may start to believe that argument. for now, i dont by it one bit.

im running blue fluid from walmart (the cheap 1.88 a gallon stuff) and mixing it with Heet as my source of meth. no clogging, no bogging, inside of the cold pipe looks as clean as it ever has.

There is an easy test you can do. Get a glass jar, fill it with a little of your mix. Dump it out and then let the residue dry over the next few weeks. The blue always seems to leave a little flakes and interesting stuff in the glass bottle. If you run it through a coffee filter then set the filter off to the side to let it dry, a lot of blue flakes will come off it as well.

It takes a while to clogg, and if you use it enough I would have to say that the high pressure would keep it clean. I would not want trust it after a month of being away.

If your mixing enough heet that might be what it keeping things so clean. Either way, use what works for you. I am just offering this as an option for those that want to buy there mix.

i was runnig blue but i have found %99.9 meth for real cheap
and i just mix it my self =)

thank you captain obvious. but he was saying that he was using blue fluid + heet to increase the meth content. the cheapo blue stuff usually is only 20-30% IIRC. That's why adding a bottle or 2 of heet to a gallon of the blue fluid increases the meth content of the mixture.

I'm assuming he wanted to know if you noticed a difference in the blue only (low meth content) vs. the pure meth.

but i know my charge pipes are not blue any more
plus pure meth cost less then blue crap
blue crap =$4 gal
meth =$6 gal mix 50/50 =$3 gal

No, this is great it gives me an idea as to how we can move forward with getting what you guys need. I am checking with a local chemical supply place next week on getting 55 gallons of meth. They are saying something like $1.80 a gallon if I buy this much, if thats the case then mixing my own would go a long way towards making things affordable. I will let you guys know what happens. Update on this, we are taking a look at using specific gravity meters to check the mix with. I have been informed that this is the best way to confirm the mix. Just using the pour this much with this much can vary deppending on the fuel supply (not all meth is equal I guess). So, the equipment has been ordered so we can start mixing the meth. I should have it after the first of the year and we are still beating up the local suppliers. I want to offer this at an affordable price to all of you, no more of this $12 to $20 a bottle crap.

Very interested in this since I just ordered a new SST. Thinking of just swapping back to stock intercooler, selling off my air/water, and just running meth since my daily driving doesn't really warrant the large cooler... but when I want to play, fire up the meth and go WOT on big boost. I'll be watching with great interest.

I just picked up a bottle of this at autozone for like a dollar. I'm not sure what the proprietary additive is, but it's only 1%, and the rest is pure methanol sweetness. I think a 12oz bottle of this, mixed with distilled water will be the perfect combo for my applications, cause i'm not looking for fuel additive, mainly water octane boost. Regardless, i think people could mix their own ratios with these bottles for far less than any online order. If anyone knows what the mystery 1% is, could you let me know?
