Default massive boost creep after 3" dp install on my msp

Anyone else have this problem?

3" dp + 3" midpipe = to much flow.. = boost creep = zoom zoom boom

I was spiking around 7/8psit and settling around 5/6psi before the 3" dp and well now if I keep on it i can hit 11psi and then some if i let it... but on low rpms it stays at 7/8 psi untell i really dog it and it climbs freakign quick!!!

I guess its time for a new exhaust mani and external wastegate.

I had the same problem I installed a manual boost controller and problems went away no creep or boost spike. Or tune with ap.

You can go with a SSAFC for tuning. There are a number of maps out there on other forums and I know they come pre-loaded with a 7psi map for the MSP. I would think about doing that and getting a manual boost controller as well just as a safety measure.

If I'm having boost creep issues why would I want a MBC? I don't wait to raise boost but lower it... I've tought about the SSAFC but I kinda like it running pig rich because its less likely to knock like that and I don't have to worry about cats currently! My current issue with the stock tune isnt so much the fuel trims but more or less the trigger that goes into open loop.

I've at the point where I'm pretty much forced to go standalone( more of less dont care to go piggy back) and forged or so I feel.

well looking at my old turbo and old wga I think my issue is the fact that the wga can only open the internal wastegate so far before the wga rod hits the internal wasteage rod preventing it from opening further.

Edit: I think I found someone who can weld cast as well here local to me. Just have to sve up for everything to go ewg.

That cast mount will crack. Not if, when it will crack is the worry.

Save for steedspeed. Or find a MAM...

yeah, I plan on going steedspeed with ewg mounted onto the stock replacement manifold from steedspeed beings that a MAM is extremely rare.
