(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  turbo question If my turbo gets heated and then smells like oil does that mean its going out? It is still making boost and what would be my best replcement option? I have aem intake and open exhaust as my only current mods engine wise. Thanks

| Not Ranked : 0 score you will be amazed i am pushing my t25 to 14PSI daily. it was full of gunk and it smelled like oil and coolant. i took it out, cleaned it very good and oiled it. it no longer smells like oil, doesn't leak and works like a charm you need to look for shaft play. there can be minium to none...if it feels weird, it probably is.

| Not Ranked : 0 score i "was" using a MBC @ 14PSI i have opted now for a new setup using dual wastegates...some hybrid shit that i'm afraid of telling you about. anyways, i now have an external wastegate like this:
