This is what the guy has posted in his add.

"These 4 wheels are from my 2008 Mazda 3 5-door with only 5500 miles on them. They are in perfect condition with no scratches or scuffs. The factory tire size is 205/50/R17. The lug nut fit pattern is 5 x 114.3 (same as 5 x 4.5). Width is 6.5 inches with zero offset."

Yes, many things are interchangable between a Mz3 and MS3. I'm running the MS3 strut, lower control arm and hub assembly in my Mz3 with my Mz3 wheels. There will be no problem doing this.

Here is another thing. last year i was using my 2001 mazda protege rims, which are 16s. and then fit fine. It was gonna be my winter rims.
but this year i had a problem. i got my front brake pads replaced at the dealership. they said that mazdaspeed pad would cost about 225 to replace, but i had the option of using regular mazda 3 pads, and the cost would be 90. so i went wit that. but now when i try to get the 16s back on for the winter, they wont fit. i took my car back to the dealership and they said that the pads from the regular 3 are thicker. which now causes the brake calipers to touch my rims.
so now i this problem of either buying mazdaspeed brake pads. or getting 17s and get a whole new set of tires to go wit them.

well i got shit taken care of over the weekend. i went to murray's, and got a pair of wheel spacers. they were 5/8", and they gave just enough clearance for the rims and the calipers not to meet. it cost me $20, instead of 200+ for new brake pads, or 600+ for new tires.
time for some snow drifting.
