(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I put some 225/40R-18 VREDESTEIN QUATRAC PRO XL tires for winter on my OEM rims (and KW V3 coil overs), and I recommend them. $148 each without installation. I have Pilot Super Sports for summer. When my last set of winter tires wore out I opted for the Vredesteins and I like them a lot. Top ratings from Consumer Reports. They are all-season but more winter/snow biased. They are EXTREMELY quiet. I can have a conversation at 75 MPH without raising my voice. I'm really impressed. Obviously they arent as grippy as the Pilots in dry or rain but still very impressive in the cold rain and so freaking quiet. I haven't driven in snow yet. Ride quality is similar to Pilots. | Not Ranked : 0 score drive up north and you will be able to test it ![]() I run old toyo garrit kx and observe GSI6 this winter and half of the time we are on snow or ice Est of Canada. It is a bit soft for sunny days but it grip very good on snow and ice and don't wear that fast...But, If it isn't snowing often enough to have a snowblower at home, you may not need them....
