Latemodel wheels on genwon ms6

Might get eaten alive for this one but I haven't seen anybody talk about this but I was wondering if anyone has run later model wheels off of a Mazda 6 (i.e 2014-2019) on a speed6? the hub bore and offsets are right so it is possible and I think it would look unique on the cars without having to go aftermarket. I think most aftermarket wheels look too aggressive or cheesy with the lowkey styling of the ms6.

Do it and let us know how it looks. I did a quick google search of a 2018 mazda 6 and those wheels look extremely similar to gen 1 wheels. Ive seen a few speed6's with gen juan wheels and it looks pretty clean

Ok, I work on a Mazda dealership and I thought the new wheels look good without being overwhelming, should be able to pick up a set by mid September. ill drop pics when shes done.

We got a new CX-5 for the wife and while I was on the lot I was thinking some of those wheels would look sweet on the Speed if they fit. A lot of them have a nice gunmetal kind of finish to them.

for me, rx8 or 2010+ ms3 wheels can't be beat for OEM on 6.

Update:bought a set of 19in 2016 mazda wheels from i think a grand touring version, they need resprayed and im not sure what color cuz my car is gray so i was thinking either bronze or black. I might keep the gray but just go a shade darker

Well that took way longer than anticipated, oil leak from the turbo drain took me way too long to fix. I think my hypothesis of these wheels looking good was correct, the offset is good and they match the cars conservative styling, at least in my opinion.

Welp got excited and didn't even notice that. tried changing the orientation and it keeps coming up sideways. i think the general idea is still there. ill keep trying to fix it.
