(Thread Starter) | Neutral : -1 score After a lot of preparation and detailed mockups, I finally knew what the car needed to fullfill that vision. These wheels are a big step in the ongoing aesthetic process, but I'm happy to see the finished project gradually coming together. A lot of people automatically reject the consideration of 20" wheels on these cars, but I knew they'd balance the body perfectly with the goal I had in mind. I went with a fully custom 20x8.5 setup and a flush fender custom offset while still weighing in at 2lbs lighter than stock per wheel. The front end needs to be lowered about another 1/2"~ and maybe a hair in the rear to be dead set perfect IMO, so I'm just going to get coilovers next season and do it right. I've also included a short video clip to show the intoxicating rolling effect of the wheels' color scheme in motion. LMK what ya think and enjoy! ![]() VIDEOS: Cheers, Alpha

| Not Ranked : 0 score Now you just need to get a couple of these and plaster them all over the car. Honestly, it doesnt look terrible probably because their white and not chrome like most dubbers. If you like them more power to you personally I wouldn't have gone in that direction.

With my upcoming EFR kit, I'm sure I'll hit it. On an MS3 I'd agree, but 18s and even 19s are drastically undersized for the length of the body and wheel wells on the MS6 unless you slam the car. Being my DD I wanted a soft, comfortable stance and you need more wheel to balance and pull it off IMO. Thanks again for all the props guys, but you've really gotta see it in person!

| Not Ranked : 0 score LOL I'm glad you said 'stance' after soft, comfortable cuz I was going to say, not so sure the 20"s would be a smoother ride than 18's with a slightly taller tire. Oh well, if you're happy with it. at least they're not chromies.

| Not Ranked : 0 score They actually look pretty good. White on white is one of my fave color combos. I think they're a tad bit too big IMHO tho. 19s are the perfect size on the MS6 for looks IMO. But I'm biased I suppose. That being said I'm dropping to 17s once my car is back together. Tapatalk stole $2.99 from my build fund. |

With your stance I'd agree with even 18s being too big.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I'm considering these more for compression and rebound tailoring, but I WOULD like to see an 1/8" - 1/4" ~ drop over what I'm running now. Possibly a 1/4" - 3/8" up front as it needs to come down a little more than the rear as it is. Any lower than that and I'd lose the balance and uniformity of the stance IMO. | Not Ranked : 0 score I don't know Alpha... you told me you were going to win me over with the 20's.. and I'm just not sure I can buy off on it. I think this exact combination would have been mint with 19s, but I think you got a little greedy with the 20s.

Believe me, I never thought I'd put 22s on a sedan in my life, but when I put 22s on my Dad's 2010 Maxima EVERYONE on the boards was like "Hell no, you're ghetto. That's gonna look ridiculous, stupid etc..." but they balanced with the car. HUGE wheel wheels on those cars. Everyone just slammed their cars to try and make 20s work on the Maximas and it just looked weak, unbalanced, and unimpressive. After I posted the pics nobody said anything, and now everyone runs 22s lol I think a lot of people are biased on diameter. It doesn't matter to me what size they end up as long as they balance the car. On this car, with my setup, 20s did it IMO. It's max effort for sure, but it pops, works, flows, and I'm SUPER happy with how things came together. ![]() I have 15" P2 Bogarts on my Camaro, 22s on the Maxima, 20s on a VW Tiguan, 20s on the MS6 and... They all look good. Depends on the car/setup. If I were going for speed the car would be much lower and probably sittin on some LW 18" CCWs, but that wasn't my goal with this car. Again, what "Looks good" or "Tastes good" is all relative. Thanks man

| Not Ranked : 0 score They do look great and I do agree that 18s are not quite enough for a speed6 but in the same breath for me 20s are a touch to big. I think some forged 19s would be most ideal but I really do like this look on your car. I say good job and nice to see something different from the same shit everyone runs. rpf1s, rotas, and tenzos are just getting old to look at. Kick ass job.

| Not Ranked : 0 score its the clearance under the car that detracts from the look if anything imho. if you extend the front bumper/sideskirts straight down a couple of inches, the illusion would be complete.

I've always liked a simple and clean body, but the car definitely has more room for some kind of tastefull trimwork now. Hmm... I'll have to see what's out there. Dropping the car just a little more like I want will also help a bit. Good call man!
