| Not Ranked : 0 score I found these on Craigslist in Atlanta. At about 8pm I asked my gf if she wanted to go for a road trip and we left at 830. Got to ATL at 1145, bought the tires, went and visited a friend for an hour, then headed back. Got back to Knoxville at about 430am. Quite the memorable evening for them. But it was worth it, because I got them for a great deal. The tires are about 75% new. I cleaned them, sanded them, painted and clear coated them. I haven't really been able to run them much with the weather the way it's been, but they have all but eliminated tire spin in 3rd. They did bring to light the fact that I need side mounts next lol. Pics I have a pic of it on the car, but everytime I upload it to photobucket it flips on its side. Can't get it to rotate back for some reason

I am fairly certain they are wide for a 225. I haven't been able to find any specs for this size of this tire either.

| Not Ranked : 0 score So the local deal for the caps fell through. I wanted flat caps and didn't want to wreck the stock ones. Toyota makes a 2.5 in (63mm) cap that fits. It is indented about 2-3 mm from the face, but it fits. Have to remove the 'T' and it gives you a flat face. My bill says the part number is 42603-48138, but the bag says 42603-30580. Just gives another option for those looking for caps.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Looks like 225 might be where to go with these as everything seems to be running wide enough for these. Assuming tire sidewall sticks out past the rim of the wheel? Also...looks good with the gold. I was thinking of doing that and your car looks just like mine...I guess I'm sold. ![]() I contacted Nitto, and the only real information they gave me was the Overall Diameter at 24.88" and Overall Width at 9.02". I'm assuming Overall Width = Section Width.

I'm not sure if the overall width = section width or not. I found the RS3 data to compare to... Section width = 9.1" Tread width = 8" If it does, then the RS3 is just a hair smaller, which makes sense in my head. Since I don't have much rubbing at all (and it's not rubbing when sitting still). I think it's the flex in the sidewall on corners that allows the tire to rub.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I guess. I'm still confused as to how @walv89; runs 245s on his in post 5, but he isn't really on the board anymore as most 245s have a section width of somewhere between 9.6-10".

| Not Ranked : 0 score Bit the bullet and put them on. Tires are Bridgestone RE-11 245/45R-16. Came out pretty well. Fitment is tight on the front KW coilover. It clears, but I may get a 5mm spacer for piece of mind. Rears are fine, not rolled.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I have Koni FSD's with 225/50-16 Re-11's and there is only 1/8" gap on the rears between the shock and tire. I'm getting 245/45-16 RE-11's next but will almost certainly need spacers on the rear. I guess it's all in what shock/strut you have.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Just got in a set of RE-11's in 245/45-16 to mount on one of my FD sets. I'm almost certain I'll need at least 5mm spacers to clear the rear shocks, going to roll the rears also. Can't wait to see them bad boys on the car.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Ok, so bit of a thread revival, but wanted to ask the folks who are already running these. I have a line on a ridiculous deal for fd's with tires and wanted to know if anyone is running these on coils and lowered? I'm going to pick up some 5mm spacers to assist, and roll the fenders, but I don't want to drop the cash if they aren't going to fit without some fairly in depth modification. Please excuse the newb question. I'm on my phone, and it's a pain in the dick to search.

| Not Ranked : 0 score What? You...don't need to roll fenders (they're 16x8 +50), probably not even if you run the spacers. I'm lowered a bit on a gen2. They're stupid close to stock specs Granted...I forgot I raised it back up a bit, but I'm on Mazdaspeed coils. ![]() Plenty o space

| Not Ranked : 0 score Is the deal from a guy that used to live in TN? I was going to buy them but shipping would be too much. If he was still here I would have bought them. Maybe not the same guy. I ended up not needing spacers or a roll.

| Not Ranked : 0 score No it's a guy local to me. That's good. I was honestly worried just because of how close my current tires are now to the spring perch on the coils. I'm gunna pick them up regardless now, and just fit them to see if spacers are needed to clear the coils. Thanks for the quick replies.
