Are any of you guys with FD wheels on coilovers? I bought some from a local drifter with 195 55 16s and the tire hits the spring seat. Will a spacer fix this? I tried searching but no luck

I don't think so, but the few with 700+ will need them or a radial. Going to start spinning and hurting their 60Ft

a little? I have seen 600hp evo's/sti's here that spin badddd. Big difference with a radial or slick set up on awd.

Ive seen certain cars here run 1.7-1.8 60 ft on street tires spinning and then when they switch to a radial/slick set up they were running 1.4-1.5's

2-3 tenth gain in a 60ft is HUGE.

I didn't realize they were spinning that bad and street tires at lower numbers. Haven't seen much for compared 60' times with street vs drag tires.

Ive tried anywhere from 8psi-16psi.

I think a little bit of spin for the awd guys are good. If they dead hook, shit is going to break fast.

As for tire psi, it really all depends on the track. Ive tried from 6 to 12, and usually if I can get a nasty long burnout in, 11 seems to be magic number for me.

OK, so I had the 26x9.5 qtps before on fd wheels , has anyone had something else on them that are better, wider or just different.

Hankook Ventus TD Z221 Hard

I can get them new for pretty cheap right now but not sure if I should go with these or Toyo R888. Its a difference of about $25 per tire. I will be running 235/45/17 for now.

Anyone know if my 26x9.5-16 Hoosier qtps from my evo will fit okay on the front of the gen1? On a 16x7 +40 Rota slip. The evo requires a 25mm spacer to clear the huge brakes.
