Default 07 MS3 Metal sound

Yo guys I spent the last 30mins looking for threads for this one, phones dying as well just trying to figure this out, I have fixed the shocks struts ball joints and motor mounts yet when I’m driving and “smash” the gas pedal I’ll hear a cracking/ knocking noise under the front of the car for a second or 2 in 2nd 3rd and 4th gear. Any ideas what it is? It isn’t the engine it sounds like it’s comjng from the front left, one shop says it’s my lowering springs or struts adjusting and making noise.

Do you hear the noise just driving and stepping on gas or right after shifting? specifically when releasing the clutch pedal/getting on the throttle. My car makes a metal noise when I release the clutch and "step" the gas, after shifting into 2,3, and sometimes 4. Unless I do everything extra slow/smooth. From what I've read here so far these cars tend to shift loud. I'm pretty new to MS3. Had mine for just a few month and my non speed 6-speed manual 3 hatch never made that sound so I'm still kinda weary of it.

Yeah or if I’m in 2nd and gun it it’ll do that weird metal on metal or “cracking” noise if you will then I’ll go to 3rd and like you said the second I release clutch and gas it’ll do it, but if I go slow and smooth I’m chillin, sounds like we have the same thing. I had also had my speed for a month

P.s. not sure if I replied right, still new to the threads

It’s neither of those, idk how to explain other than the way I did, once almost any gear I’m in if I smash the pedal as opposed to gradually increasing I just hear cracks or pops or like 2-4 quick knocks from it seems like the front left side but if I start in and 2nd and make my way up flying down the highway it’ll pop til I’m cruising in 5th

Well I've been daily driving mine pretty extensively for these few months since I bought it (in NYC traffic no less so I shift very often) and aside from it being annoying I haven't really seen/felt issues. From what I've read here it seems like these cars have some loud ass throwout bearings and that would fit with this type of noise. It does sound like it could be it (at least on my car). I've actually been hearing it less after getting more used to shifting/driving this car. So I'm leaning towards it being normal. But not having much experience with this specific car I still makes me uncomfortable hearing it since it doesn't sound like something you'd want to hear in your car, and for all I know it could be that. But so far my research and lack of issues seem to point to it not being anything bad.
Only thing is that you said you also get it when gunning it in second, and I have't gotten it outside of releasing the clutch/getting on throttle after shifting. So you might have something else happening there also.

That may be it but the rattling is only when I accelerate, I thought worn bushings rattled almost constantly
