Default Oil Pressure Sensor Connector

2006 Mazda 3, 2.3L, Oil pressure sensor green plastic top blew off the metal sensor, oil leaking everywhere. I removed the old sensor from the filter housing, but I can't get the electrical connector off the plastic part of the sensor. Is there a tab to compress? I have removed many other connectors on the car in the past without problems but this one looks different? What is the trick?

Default

Its a push tab judging by what the sensor looks like. Try cleaning around the push area, its likely that debris has gotten beneath the tab.
