Trying to break the 400HP mark? You're going to need a larger than stock MAF housing. The MAF sensor in the factory housing simply doesn't have the ability to register 400HPworth of air. Moreover, big turbo performance will be stifled by a standard size MAF housing. cp-e™ has created theXcelXL™ to help alleviate this restriction.

With the cp-e™ XcelXL™ the possibilities are endless. It is offered as a simple MAF housing that can either be used as a short ram intake, that is a direct fit with our Nviscid™ inlet pipe, or it can be integrated by the end-user into a custom intake system for whatever setup you need.

The XcelXL™ comes as a kit with a 3.25in MAF housing designed to fit the stock MAF sensor, a cp-e™ 3.5in filter with a built in velocity stack for optimal airflow, and a breather filter for the crank case ventilation, as well as all the necessary hardware for a direct fit to the cp-e™ Nviscid™ inlet pipe.

In order for your ECU to recognize this increase in air flow through the stock MAF sensor, you will have to custom tune your vehicle.

Apparently by adding in a intake filter + crankcase breather filter and doing some fancy powder coatin costs like $200 extra over just a MAF housing

nice find! Its good to have options. Although it's about $100 less vs. the cp-e and $90 more(when you add a TIP) than JBR big maf intakes after all is said and done.
$65 for the maf housing you found
$60 for a decent intake filter
$20 for the silicone coupler
$10 for the breather filter.

Ok you do realize that JBR is going to be selling their big MAF intake for $265. cp-e is selling theirs for $259. You have the OPTION to buy the black anodized one for $269 which is only $4 more than JBR's.

Wow this is for a BIG MAF intake not a normal SRI. Corksport DOESN'T make a BIG MAF intake.

JBR is the FULL intake, it's all the way to the turbo. To compare this to JBR prices you need to inlcude the TIP which is another $210. So even with the awesome pricing we get from vendors here you are looking around $440 for cp-e vs $265 for JBR. This does not include the $15 increase cp-e has on the big turbo inlet.
