Default CP-e atmosphere kit questions

First of all, got my kit in today, looks great, however had a few questions.

- where do you guys bury the wastegate springs that are supposed to be with the MVR?
CP-e: apparently comes with the springs installed in the WG only, still awaiting reply on this.

- what happened to the waste gate coolant lines that are listed with the kit on the website, there is no trace of them in my box.
CP-e: waste gate lines are not included. Website seems to have been updated to correct this issue.

- as a side note: not including a 90deg fitting for the intercooler to turbo is a horrible idea, especially when you design an intercooler that requires it.
CP-e: shipped the wrong kit, 90 degree on the way

You sound like a whiny bitch, write them an email and call them. This type of shit infuriates me, stop being passive aggressive and deal with your issue head on instead of making a forum post about an issue that could have been resolved via email or a phone call. If you have not done either of those, then this thread needs to be locked and deleted.

when a phone just keeps ringing for 5 minutes, usually something is wrong.

will update op with information when I receive it for future purchasers on what is actually included.

You say wastegate lines are not included. So do you need to buy some custom/universal lines or use OEM, if available?

Im on the preorder list for the MS6 Atmosphere kit and would be nice to know if everything is included or not

IMO, the kit is very complete in terms of necessary hardware, but everyone's set-up varies widely in terms of intercooler routing etc.

In the not too distant future, I'm going to do a write up with some snags I hit, my overall impressions of the kit, tuning the kit etc.

I'm ridiculously slow and need to do that asap.

For anyone looking for a complete turbo upgrade in terms of exhaust flow, boost control, turbo choice, etc. I don't think you can go wrong with this kit.

A write up would be really awesome! There is sooo little info on installation and routing on the Atmo kit. Im planing on doing mine this summer and if i am short on any hardware im most probably fucked since "everyone" in sweden goes on vacation at about the same time

One thing i know i will have to do custom work on is the mount bracket for the CP-E TMIC since there is no bracket on the new mani.

I hope @Lex; will be available to tune me, i dont know of anyone else that is knowledgeable on versatuner on this forum

Talk to Lex now about it.. plan it out and get a base map from him 2 weeks before install.

Tell me your hardware set-up as far as intercooler etc. and I'll do my best to get you a parts list to have handy (odds and ends) so that you can @ least get the car running.

there are no wastegate coolant lines in the kit, however they are not required. What I thought was a coolant line in SilverDemon; kit was actually a wastegate pressure line he made out of an line.

This is what i will be running when the kit is installed, overall mods:
Versatuner on a 25% E85 +91 octane tune
CP-E Atmosphere with GT3076
CP-E TMIC with OEM boost tubes and custom bracket around the ex-mani area
Turbosmart BPV
3 bar MAP Sensor with PNP Harness
Stratified Boost Dial
Stratified Guardian Angel
OEM EBCS

JBR Coolant Bypass
JBR EGR Delete
JBR OCC Stage 2
JBR TIG TB+IM (IM will be installed next weekend along with a valve clean)

Prosport filter adapter plate
Block8Head Dual Gauge Pod
Defi Racer Boost gauge
Defi Racer Oil Temp gauge
Defi Racer Oil Pressure gauge

Might have a Dashhawk installed as well

First goal is 20 psi and a somewhat safe tune. Later than OEM spool fits me perfectly, then i dont need to make such an effort to not boost on low rpm (pita on k04 and OTS tune).
Your help is greatly appreciated

Lex will be able to work the tune portion right out for you.

Best thing for me to do is take a picture of possible areas that will be an issue, then you will have a visual representation of possible issues that may come up.

I will do that asap.

A few things and 2 pics, but will get more pics when I do my review:

1) The turbo position on an ms3 here (note relatively low compared to top of valve cover, so will need appropriate silicone to intercooler connection)

2) Unless running your high pressure signal from the manifold, you will need either an ATP quick tap or you can use a hollowed bicycle tire valve stem:

FTG-QuickTap-CompHSG : atpturbo.com
or (available @ local auto parts stores but for visual reference:
Drag Specialties Metal Valve Stem - Cruiser Motorcycle - Motorcycle Superstore

I HIGHLY recommend ordering the following in order to make your life about 1,000 x's easier. For the oil feed line, I recommend ordering one of these (the red will flow a decent amount, and a restrictor is included with the kit atmosphere, BUT, getting behind the alternator is a ROYAL pain in the ass, and having this extension makes it a :15 job, + filters your oil to the turbo for you (a win/win in my book):

Forced Performance Turbochargers: FP -4 AN Inline Filter

I will continue to post and have a review soon.. as things pop into my head.

@rfinkle2;

It's been a year and im still waiting for the turbo but it should arrive within a couple weeks.
Have the inline filter been good to you? Im about to order one ($66 for shipping it is fucked up though ). You pointed out that the red one flows good, still recommend that one over the black?

I would get the larger orifice nozzle for sure.

The fitting to the turbo is restricted as needed.

Haven't had a single oil drop.

Great! How often do you clean the filter? Got a picture of it installed?
