Arrow cp-e™ ΔCore™ Front Mount Intercooler - Gen 2

  • Massive 24” x 9.5” by 3.25” Intercooler
  • 2.5” Inlet, 2.75” Outlet, cast endtanks
  • 2.5” and 2.75” Lightweight, powder coated aluminum piping
  • Steel mesh black silicone with T-Bolt clamps all around
  • Steel Crash bar upgrade with integrated tow hook powdercoated
  • CAD engineered precision CNC milled and bent components
  • No modification necessary for fitment
  • Lifetime warranty

The 2010 MazdaSPEED3 has a lot of potential and for those that want to get the most out of the engine, cp-e™ has designed a front mount intercooler (FMIC). The factory top mount intercooler (TMIC) leaves a lot to be desired, its biggest flaw is location. Because it sits on top of the engine, which generates a lot of heat, the TMIC soaks in the hot air especially while the vehicle is idle. All performance enthusiasts know that heat is our enemy.

in the kit you say there is a upgraded crash bar. How is this crash bar upgraded from the stock one. The stock crash bar has been crash tested and had to meet a standard set by a governing body. Is your crash bar smaller to fit a larger intercooler? If I get in a front end collision will it perform as good or better than stock? If so how have you tested this

The crash bar as been CAD designed and analyzed over the factory unit.

Fact of the matter is the factory unit is nearly support for foam and bumper and serves primarily as a brace for the two frame rails. (unlike in the Gen 1 setup).

Our bar is designed to do just the same, with more strength, working as a better brace.
We retained the use of the tow hook, making sure that people are not stranded without the ability to tow the vehicle properly.

Installed pictures would be great, the cost is large and I already have an ETS TMIC, but the heat soak is out of control.

Gen 1 should have similar looking angle- I believe that angle did not change between the two models.

Does CP-E participate in group buys? If so, I'll be # 1 on the list for this.

Maybe something as simple as first # receive free shipping?

Can I get some pics looking down on the engine bay and then from the core outlet to the throttle body. My issue is that I have mounted my OCC on the transmission and have the tubing coming over to that area. I would probably have some fitment issues.
