CP-E Downpipe missing

This is starting to get really really frustrating!!

I paid for downpipe and other stuff trough JP@edge 5 weeks ago!! And i still dont have a clue where my downpipe is.... And edge cant get a hold on CP-E! So noone knows where it is or if its even been shipped at all!!

@Grumpyjap: I need your help here, i needed that fucking downpipe like 2 weeks ago... :/

I ordered a CP-E TMIC 6/29 thru Edge after being assured they were in stock, they had to be dropped shipped and according to UPS I'm getting it this afternoon. Better late then never but was still a little pissed off that after I was told they were in stock and they weren't, don't know if I was lied to deliberately but perception is reality. Seems to becoming a pattern with these guys, I'd piss and moan for a free T shirt but they don't even carry man size (XX-L). Although to be fair it is the first time I've had any issues with Edge and CP-E but I keep reading on the same issues with other members makes me think something is up. Just my experience and .02.

My car is on jacks right now. All i need to do is to install the diff mount and then it would be ready for DP install. Got the exhaust down so DP would be REALLY nice to have right now....

As of right now i would NOT recommend anyone to buy from cpe if they want their stuff within a year

Edge isn't the ones sitting on their ass. I bought my Tial through Cpe directly. I'm in jersey and their in Maryland. Shit takes a day or two tops to get to me. Well after a week of staring at a trackin number with update I decide to call them, everyday until that changed. And I asked as to why it wasn't shipped. "oh I don't see why, it's packed and ready at our shipping dept". Oh cool so how about you actually give it to ups then. Too busy engraving shit to triple the price and not enough time actually making their selves look good enough for people to want to actually pay their ridiculous prices.

It seems like there is a tech/order glitch in their system, if it is there and not shipped. I stuck their thread about the new contact/forum presence so everyone has Chunie' email. He was on top of emails last I saw.

I had supported CPE since they rolled out years ago, so I am saddened to see the progression port-Jordan. I am hopeful this can be turned around.

OP did you try contacting CPE directly? They always answer my calls. I just cant see how a business with normal operating hours doesn't answer their phones for 5 weeks, lol. Sorry but who ever sold you that story is lying. Im not bashing anyone here just playing devil's advocate on behalf of the OP. With that said CPE has to step their logistic game up to where they were not so long ago.

I'd hate to see a company that has developed exclusive products for our platform along the years, give up and quit on us.

that's not going to happen. what's going to happen is the customers are going to give up on cpe.

It is a major communication failure between vendors and CPE and CPE's ordering and shipping.

I don't believe for one second CPE wouldn't answer any phone calls for 5 weeks, that's all.

...not from fucking SWEDEN! and when I ordered through another vendor, and I did call then to get an update on the 4+ month delayed rmm, I was referred to the vendor. It was my last purchase there. The last time I did try to call, I left a VM and 2 weeks later no response.

I trust almost every other vendor on here to be responsive faster than CPE at this point. I had CPE's #2 pre-production (prototype) intake, so I have a long experience working with CPE not just on that, but as vendors on my CX-7 forum when Jordan was there.

I have also been around Mazda forums for 10+ years and seen them come and go. The #1 thing that happens first when firms start to fade, is lack of communication.

After all these posts of CPE screwing things up for their customers I thought they would clean up their act and change things around...
I looked at CP-E parts in the past...but now I wont even think of buying one little thing from them.

Edge sells COBB, JBR...all we really need can come from these 2 tuners. And not to forget Corksport's great parts/service.

We don't need CP-E anymore...

Where is the official response from CP-E with their vendor account? Not you and Adam using your regular accounts.

I thought it was in the rules to use a vendor account to respond as a vendor.

CP-E is no different than they were 6 months ago.

Exact, I was looking just for that to see if we could buy these somewhere else and yes...

It's too bad to see this, I don't get it that things like that still happens. CP-E will loose us MSF.org buyers and this is a lot of money to be lost.

We are still lucky to have JBR, COBB, SURE, Corksport, HTP... as tuners for our MS's. Edge is not to blame for CP-E's lack of business sense. I will buy from Edge again but never for CP-E's stuff. Looking at my needs I don't need them.

The problem with cp-e replying is that it just turns into a bash fest. Thread goes off topic then all hell breaks loose and thread needs to be closed. Chunie was hired to do the customer service as far as phone and emails.

This one is tough to field as there is more going on than what can be said. That being said, It is no excuse for the customer to be inconvenienced. For this we are truly sorry and we are trying to work with edge to remedy this problem.
