TMIC support? Really? Do you really think you come close to needing an intake manifold with a TMIC still on the car?

JMF doesn't offer a bolt on solution for a TMIC either but that doesn't mean it can't be done.

With enough corn, BATs don't matter as much.

Hell, I'm tempted to try out chemical intercooling and ditch the IC all together, but that isn't really viable long term or for road racing without a huge meth cell.

well i doubt half the people running the JMF "NEED" it, the stock unit flows damn well as it is. Now, to say it didnt run amazing enough to need 4 more injectors, that i may agree with you on. That core is still badass and can move some serious airflow though.

So, back to this again; same kind of naysay happened in the JMF thread.

An upgraded manifold does more than just flow more air; it evens the flow per cylinder.

It's this more even airflow I want, not more overall airflow.

Yes it does even things out when it is made right. I will totally agree with that. If you want that so be it. Can you get close enough on the stock manifold with some diy modding, yes you can. Boost overcomes a lot of restrictions though.

If it has stock TB bolting, just get the super skaters TB.

I have a feeling this manifold is going to destroy the competitions and I fucking hate CPe haha

Dual plenum?
A forced induction manifold needs a dual plenum.

Are we sure this won't support TMIC?
I plan on staying TMIC with Meth and E.

All you'll need to do is fab a bracket and TMIC to TB connection. Not all that difficult.

I like the that the SLA has the injector bodies included. Why? Because we can.

I'm not saying it's a good idea to use the ETS on a 600HP build, but it is possible.

You have to take into account how much more effective the gen 2 scoop design is than the 1st gen. I'm not saying everyone should only use an ETS, but its a badass core and cools quite well.

If I get a manifold most likely I will go with an ETS TMIC and meth. A FMIC is tempting but im not sure I want that much lag on my DD.

It just seems like the best solution for my usage. On top of that, I really would like to see if we can push a K04 any further on a stock style setup and again, I think a TMIC would be the best way to do this.

Not turbo lag.... throttle lag. On any turbo system, the shorter the turbo to throttle plumbing, the faster the engine will respond. Not a very difficult theory to understand.

Hmmm. This does look pretty nice. I tried to get this project approved over a year ago to start working on but got denied.

Good job CP-E, doing what I wanted but wasn't allowed.

P.S. - I'd be happy to test this for you guys as well. Mods in sig and Mustang Dyno out back. Just sayin...

That won't change one damn thing about what I'm talking about. Its not going to fill the vacuum any sooner.

Being as how I've never been in an ms3 with a tmic or a fmic I have nothing to go on as far as feel other than what other people have said about their tmic to fmic throttle response. Typically the best rule of thumb is to make the IC system as short as possible with as few bends as possible to increase/maintain throttle response. The TMIC is king in that function. The offset of course is the ease of heatsoak on a TMIC setup.

Its perfectly logical that a car with a 10 cubic foot plumbing system will fill faster than a vehicle with a 20 cubic foot system. A larger turbo does negate that somewhat however due to the larger volume of air its able to push.

Wait, you have never been in a ms3 with either and you are passing judgement on the throttle response?

I have a larger turbo and a fmic and the throttle response is just fine.

you obviously fail to understand how those tables work... lets just keep this simple.
The APP tables = Applied pedal position if you didnt already know, lets assume the one you have right now is 1:1. If you push the pedal 10% the throttle body opens 10%. Now to compensate for "lag", we can bump up the throttle body to open say... 15%. Now when you push the pedal down 10% the throttle body has opened 15%, so you are filling the same volume with the same pedal position and the car feels the exact same.

the lag is not something you will even notice, but there are plenty of ways around it still.

Aftermarket tmic or fmic fuck face. Comprehension skills help.

Which again, the larger turbo will assist in filling the larger volume. no judgement being passed that I'm aware of but thanks.
