All I'm gonna say is they took 2+ years to release the side mounts. They put those things through hell, they had a race team run them for a season or 2 if my memory doesn't fail me.


I stopped buying any new released products for this platform a long time ago because most companies supporting this platform simply can not afford the proper R&D time for any given hard part. Reason for this is either the product cost will be well over what our community is willing to pay or the company simply didn't provide the needed time to properly develop such parts. Which in turn puts the consumer at risk of failure or down time. We see this all the time in our platform, which is why many companies have revisions to their products after the original release date.

In fewer words we all ended up being guinea pigs at one point or another we just don't realize it. Its an unfortunate downside of being a small platform. Its just very difficult for a vendor to make something super reliable and cost effective, when their production run is so small. I like to see a product out in the market at least 6 months before I can consider a purchase. Of course I'm not referring to silly crap like hids Lol.

So if it takes CPE to release an intake manifold 2 years but the thing works, without sacrificing a bunch of their customers cars in order to find out a revision needs to be made, then I'm all for waiting.

We have the cast preproduction model and we are test fitting and making sure everything is right before we go into production.

Read this thread much? These pictures are on this very page CP-E Intake manifold

From the looks of it the TB is not in the stock location. Port injection bungs look to be standard option since they are only casting one manifold type. If you desire to go PI, probably will only need to drill through the bung the rest of the way.

Flow numbers as well as all specs will be given closer to release as we are still testing them on a car right now. We just want to make sure the specs are correct before releaseing info. Same with TB location we will cover all those bases when we release the info in a short while. Sorry for the LONG delay, we would like to get this right and give you a great product. We're just making sure everything is where it should be and performing as it should too.
We will say that the port injection bungs were always on the top of our list. All manifold will be sold with them and you can unplug and add ports down the road if you are not ready for it right away.
