CP-E Stage 2 RMM significantly damaging the transmission case?

Found this posted on CP-E's website under reviews. It is from the beginning of this month. It is NOT my review --

"Just be careful with this mount it made my shifts feel so much better. You will be moving the stress in a different location of the car. A section of my transmission housing broke off after a couple of months on my car sad to say I’ve had to take this mount off my car so that further damage is not done. Going to be looking at other options. It may have just been my transmission was weak in that section from the factory. If you want to see here’s a link to the photos taken.

I'm concerned for my own trans. Was this a random failure or the product of running this mount for an extended period of time?

Looks more like something bounced up from under the car and hit it to me

Have to agree with road debris, there are no signs of wear on the mount or chipping in the finish.

I have had this mount for 3 years and at 400hp/tq it has been a champ nad vibs are minimal. I am happy with it at least.

Still keeping mine, not worried. This guy had it a couple months - that's nothing. Many people have had it much longer and not had a problem, except the early adopters for whom the bushing retainer screws were vibrating loose which cpe fixed with threadlocker.

LOL. Nad vibes are minimal with mine, too.

It's disappointing, my nads want the vibs

Well good to know there are plenty of people running it over a few months. Just locktited them last evening

Update from CP-E:

"You don’t need to worry about the RMM causing any harm to other parts of your vehicle.

Our mount was designed to perfectly align with both the front-sub frame mounting points as well as the mounting locations on the transmission itself, thereby not creating any additional stress points on either the sub-frame itself or the transmission housing. While the bushing we use is stiffer than the factory compound, this does not increase or “transfer” stress to the mounting points.
"

Sounds good to me I guess

Had a 2x4 lodged near the side jack point of the car, need CP-E complaint line, and ask for a reimbursement in the form of their Stage 2 RMM.

Thanks!

10/10 would compensate you with the stage 2 rmm and pmm/tmm
