(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score (By the way, this is for a genpu, so imagine the appropriate shroud for the first item.) 1. Your emblem location. I'm not sure if this applies to you Juan guys, but this could be moved for the Pu's so we can see it. It's not a big deal, just figured if we are spending 400 quid on a piece, it's not bad to show the name (and the emblem is pretty nice looking, not a crap sticker). With the shroud mounted, you can not see the emblem. Just moving it up a couple inches would remedy this. Or anywhere else along the uppermost part of the front end tank. Maybe it's the point to be hidden, some people like that, but I wouldn't mind seeing it. (marked with pretty colors to portray what I'm thinking) 2. Angled bracket to weld clearance. There is one angled bracket on the front end tank that I had some issues with. A corner of the bracket overlapped the weld beads and would not sit flat on the tank. I could not find that other people were having this problem so I wonder if this is isolated, but probably not since I'd assume they are all the same ICs. Maybe others didn't notice or just did not care. I wanted the thing sitting flush, so I hacked the corner off (about 1/4 - 3/8) at an angle. This is even after the bracket was moved all the way to one side of the slotted holes. In no way do I see this deteriorating structural integrity of this bracket or the IC. If you guys never knew about this and wanted to alter the design, I'd gladly throw a new bracket on to test. Otherwise, I don't really care and it will never be seen or hurt anything as it sits currently. (sorry for the pic quality, my cell camera is on its way out) Again, none of this bothers me as is. Just wanted to forward some thought that may help somebody down the line. If both issues are already known, then don't mind me, just throw me into the pot of reported misc.
