Default CPE FMIC and Towplate installed!!
This Saturday I installed my CPE FMIC and the CPE TowPlate. The install for both was pretty straight forward. It would have went faster if I did it alone though. Installations when friends and beer are present seem to make things take longer. Fit is great and nothing at all needed to be cut or modified. You can do both the coolant hose and the power steering lines losing minimal fluids if you think it through. I lost a few ounces of steering fluid and about 1/2 a gallon of coolant. I tried taking out the bottom grill part to see what it looked like and I didn't like it so its still the way you see in the pictures. Install took a few hours but that was with beer and friends. I also changed the oil to AMSOIL 5w40 and added a magnetic drain plug. After the install I started the car up and there was no more smoking. Usually I smoke pretty heavy at start up. It might be a coincidence but ill know for sure when I drive it today if the oil fixed the smoking. More pics to come.

it comes wrapped in paper but my friend disregarded the "do not remove until installed" that was right on it so we taped it back on.

Im really confused the cp-e you have installed doesn't look anything like the one on the SU website.


the end tanks are on the top and bottom but not on yours.
or is it just me and im crazy?
