(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I noticed before mods some restriction in the car, but I did not realize just how choked the car is stock. WIth each mod: cai, then bov, then finally DP, I could feel the car opening up. Now I feel the car breathing easilly and responding brilliantly and instantly compared to stock. Shifts are smooth, acceleration is quick and sharp. The car is so much easier and more fun to drive now. I am not sure that you actually get ALL the HP increase promised from these mods, but I do not think that the HP increase should be the focus for these installs....the extra HP is obviously a sweet benefit though! I think that these 3 mods HAVE to be the first mods to this car, if you decide to keep it small, then they can be your last, but if not they set a great foundation for further mods! |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score yeah I have known from a long time ago that you do not "stack" hp increase. You see these silly guys adding up the HP increase for each mod and then being pissed when they dyno....I just giggle when I see it! Had a guy the other day tell me his RX8 was 360 WHP and even though it was very fast I told him it could never be that much, (I estimated not more than 250) but he insisted due to the "mods" he had installed. Well he the dyno charts came back... 220 WHP....he has not spoken to me since because I keep laughing at him. LOL |

Make sure you buy a new motor mount from Randy and a fuel pump or internals from some where.
