(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score The entire mid range and top end now seem much stronger. Leaving the shop I was able to get wheelspin in the upper RPMs of 2nd going in a straight line(dry pavement). The turbo is no longer falling on it's face (as bad) past 5500 rpm. The throttle seems much more predictable in all situations making it much more effortless to shift smoothly. Lou is still the man but I have one more idea for a flash. Many people are using the SB in combination with the DH. It is frustrating not to be able to read boost with the DH. If you could achieve this it would be a truly complete package. One question: what's with the alarms going off constantly in the shop? -Matt

| Not Ranked : 0 score The SB caps the MAP sensor to prevent cuts so you can't see actual boost past 10psi or so on the DH when using a SB because the car has no idea what it is in the first place. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Ahh..gotcha. Weird, I had no idea that it did that. I've heard that full throttle flash isn't worth anything as opposed to an actual tune (via SB or AP). True or false?

| Not Ranked : 0 score The SB has not control over throttle. So the FT flash gives you full throttle. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score And I thought according to COBB, there was no real gain of power at 50% WOT vs 100% WOT?

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score You can use the Dashhawk still but as Lex mentioned because of the MAP clamp the factory ecu has no idea what the real boost is(only the SB does). As far as I am concerned the car feels much stronger from the midrange to redline with all else equal. Certainty not as much bang for your buck as a downpipe or FMIC upgrade but I am enjoying it.

| Not Ranked : 0 score The thing that I like about the flash is that the driver controls the throttle, not the ECU. When you floor the pedal you get WOT (87%), not what the ECU determines it wants to give you. I'm enjoying it.

| Not Ranked : 0 score 87% is full throttle its just how its perceived by the dash hawk. you can get a dash hawk to show the boost you want with the standback. It just depends where you set the map clamp. |

i've driven in mid to upper 20's with the mods in my sig (stock fuel pump) and dont have any fuel or boost cut at WOT. unless people are in even colder weather with more mods.
