| Not Ranked : 0 score the CP-E cold weather fuel cut flash. will solve your issue..... but i would check things out to make sure that going WOT in cold weather with the flash is safe, and if there is anything else you should be concerned with, i have also heard Cobb AP has a cold weather program as well.....i have the same valve, and indeed my bud MazdaJ had some playing around with the valve to get it on just right....not as easy as the Turbosmart was by a long shot, or the stocker for easy install...although being on the flange now, the HKS is easy to go on and off.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Are you sure the bpv is sealed on the flange and not leaking? I have the same bpv and don't experience these problems. I do get the cold weather cut, but I get that with the stock and the hks bpv. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I'm sure it's sealed at the flange. The only place it might not be is at the recirc fitting. I had a greedy type s on there before and same thing happened in the cold weather. It's really scary when it happens. I put the stocker back on and it doesn't happen. I think my stocker leaks though so may e that's why it doesn't happen. Another question I have is when the hks blows off do you hear like a sputtering sound? It almost sounds like comp surge but I think it's from the hks. Is that just how it sounds??? |

| Not Ranked : 0 score if the car is sputtering with the HKS but runs fine with the stocker, its most likely the opposite-- it sounds like the HKS may be leaking. The HKS valve definitely makes the car feel jerkier and less smooth between shifts, maybe this is what you are feeling? The HKS valve opens and closes about 100x faster than the stocker. The flutter sound is normal at low boost. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score yeah you really can't diagnose something like this when you are 'data logging' with your butt dyno. I say just leave the stocker on until you can figure it out. |
