Default Introducing the cp-e ™ Nexus™ Exhaust for the gen1 Mazdaspeed3

Don't worry Gen1 owners we did not forget about you. Introducing our new Gen1 MazdaSPEED3 Nexus™ Cat Back Exhaust
MMS3SCBEM2
List Price: $692.80
Price: $692.80

FEATURES
  • Full 3.00” Mandrel Bent 304 Stainless Steel Exhaust
  • Ball Socket Joints
  • 4” Polished Stainless Steel Tip
  • cp-e™ muffler and resonator
  • Adjustability and Interchangeability
  • Close to stock highway volume levels
  • Beautiful and aggressive WOT sound
  • TIG welded
  • All necessary hardware included

When cp-e™ set out to make the Nexus™ exhaust system, they were looking to offer the market something of even higher quality and function than they already provided. With the Nexus™ System, cp-e™ has succeeded in developing an aggressive exhaust that still gives a close to stock highway sound.

On top of the great sound, the Nexus™ exhaust utilizes new ball-socket clamps to allow even more adjustability and interchangeability. These stainless steel clamps allow rotation and pivoting at each joint to ensure that each install is a perfect fit. The clamps are also quite easy to remove, allowing a quick way to interchange pieces of the exhaust system. Users can now interchange exhausts tips, or even interchange the resonator for a straight pipe. This interchangeability gives a very versatile exhaust that can evolve to each situation, whether it be highway driving or track use.

The Nexus™ comes standard with one muffler, one resonator, and a JDM style 4” polished stainless steel exhaust tip. By attaching the tip with ball socket clamps users are able to choose any rotation or angle that they want the tip to fit, whether it be straight back, left, right, up, or down.

All cp-e™ exhausts are made from Super Polished 304 Stainless Steel. The 18g heavy duty stainless piping is mandrel bent and cut on our in-house CNC Bender and CNC Mills. The system features custom cast Stainless Flanges, reliable hangers, custom made Stainless Mufflers and polished stainless tips. Everything is TIG welded by hand to get beautiful color and durability in the welds. Designed fully in a CAD environment, cp-e™ is able to guarantee a factory-like fit every-time with great performance gains.

All cp-e™ products come with necessary hardware for installation and are backed by an industry leading lifetime warranty.

I've been rocking this exhaust since fall and I can say that it's MUCH quieter than the previous one. Absolutely no drone at any cruising speed, but when you get on it, it sounds incredible. The way they designed it to have the adjustibility in mind too is amazing. AND the price is awesome too!!!

^^ Same thoughts.

Quiet and deep for sleeper mode, loud enough at WOT to say "yes... I got something for you under the hood"

I like the clamps instead of flanges. Nice looking kit, but why does the tip have to be 4in???? Waayy too much. I say this but I have a CNT CBE waiting to go on with a 4in tip.

Cuz gen1's have a larger cut out than the genpu. 3" tip looks silly compared to a 4.

Part of the reason for the redesign was to create more options. The tip is a seperate piece for a new tip can be welded on if you prefer not to have a 4" tip

My bad. 4 in doesn't look bad. Its the 4.5 in like the CNT I have that is way too big. I'll still rock it but the CNT seems huge to me. Might just be the angle it comes out at. But super_pablos pic doesn't look bad at all.

I'd love to see some out of car videos similar to how Cobb did their vid. I'm torn between the two, so kinda just looking for whichever drones less. Super tired of my ghetto-fab exhaust.

Isn't the stock tip 4" as well?

I know this sounds silly, but if this was installed on a GenPu, would the hangers need to be modified for proper fitment?

I love my current CP-E catback but it is ginourmous and heavy.

Can you clairify your "Industry leading lifetime warranty". As I had issues with my previous First gen speed CPe exhaust, where youre lifetime warranty "didnt apply" and you wanted a - picture, video, and who installed it as well.

Might have to give this a look. My COBB exhaust was great with the CP-e catted downpipe, but I get a lot of drone in pretty much all cruising RPM ranges with my current setup.

What setup do you have now? I am debating between the COBB and new CPE.

Great product CPE!! Keep up the good work and release that atmosphere kit already

Catted CP-E DP and Simons 3" to 2x2,5" here and i love it!! I hate drone when cruising so this is perfect! Makes badass sound when you gun it too But i think shipping it overseas would not be so fun for you guys

not to be a dick but... then you should probably just fucking stay stock. Nothing unprofessional about the cp-e exhaust, or most of the exhausts for our platforms for what its worth. Compared to Hondas and shit, these are all pretty quiet.

Ill be honest with you and say that if you are just cruising around, theres barely any difference between the cpe exhaust and a stock exhaust. fuck, even with an upgraded downpipe, you will barely notice the difference unless your going WOT... which is of course... not very professional, and wouldnt expect you to be doing near work anyway.

Hmmmm i have the corksport catted dp to 3" exhaust and its sounds amazing but here in cali anything to keep the power and not draw attention from the po po's is welcome.

Anyone have a corksport and compare sound wise?? When my car is rolling again I will take a sound clip.

Nexus should be here on Friday, so looking at doing the install on Saturday. Will get clips with the COBB sometime during the week (both inside and outside the car) and will do the same for the Nexus when I receive it. Incidentally, I will have a COBB CBE up for sale soon.
