Default My CP-e TMIC is just setting in CP-e's warehouse

Fucking this guys again,

They received my TMIC on Wednesday, I email them Yesterday to request update. Paula was saying once they got it they'll place the shroud on the next day and send it back to me the next day. Yesterday should have been the next day. I didn't received any head's up so I called today to make sure they will sent it out.

Yesterday, She was telling me, that they didn't have power and that it came back only late Yesterday, some shit like that and that they'll do it today.

So I received a UPS tracking number and I called em. Now it's like the guys who work on that machine is out since 2 days and won't be in until next Tuesday.

Kind of concerned what's going on. I just hope I'll get my TMIC back.......

Fucking rage again........

You'll get your IC back. Keep your pants on. It seems like you're just fishing for an excuse to bash them. I will call on tuesday to make sure that the shroud gets made, if that guy is in.
I know it's not your problem, but most east coast companies are going through alot of shit right now because of the hurricane. 2 of the guys here have been out all week because their houses got flooded.

QFT. A lot of the East Coast is still recovering from the hurricane and many still do not have power.

Umm...uh...Seriously?

You do know they dropped the ball wayyyy before getting off the the forum, and with them ignoring customers people got moar raged.

Dont gimme that "if people didnt start shitting on cp-e" garbage. Ive had my own share of crap from them, but I wont go into that here, what I will go into is that they played their own hand in this.

Sitting home sick today with streps around here. I missed the latest update on this thread.

So I got some head's up from CP-e. They did the shroud on Tuesday and it's already on my way. So shipped.

I appreciate them moving faster on this.

See I was mad because the laddy on the phone told me they will take care of it once they'll receive the TMIC. And once they received it, She just said that the guy working on putting the shroud didn't show up to work for 2 days and She added that they didn't have power.

Well I didn't think further that they got hit with a Hurricane and they were out of power for that.

So I'll say: communication. It's a communication issue. If She had told me, hey sorry we couldn't get to start working on it because we got hit here by a Hurricane and we don't even have power established by now. Then It'll be another story.

I'll say the same other issue ppl are complaining around here with CP-e is most likely communication issue.

@donotbugme: All this is part of the game. what are they expecting, that customers gonna always like all what they are doing? If they though this way, then it was very naive from them.

As a company you have to face customer's critics any how. Either you like it or not. That's the nature of business when dealing with customers and it's not something new. Are they looking to do it a la facebook (where you only like it and you have no means to dislike it )

So what make a company successful today is the loyalty of their customers and the ability to acquire new customers AND MAINTAIN THEM (make them stay).

For any one who understand how to run a company, a successful company needs:
1) Good products
2) Good customer service and this implies customer satisfaction NO MATTER WHAT...
3) Good media representation (social network, internet, radio, TV, etc, etc).

and and and.

So if a company doesn't get this simple ABC steps, they'll never get successful.

So we are in a world where customer's opinions and feedback count the most. Every company has to do their best to keep up with their customers and make them happy. Because a negative feedback from a customer can make you lose 100 potential new customers. But a happy feedback can make you gain only 5 (10 maybe).

Let me finish with a quick question: Are you guys buying online without reading customers feedback from a merchant? Once you read a negative feedback it's most of the time enough the make you stay away from that merchant.........

Maybe you missed it last weekend.

There are still a couple thousand homes without power nearby me in central PA. The storm was a little stronger in MD.

While we all want 1 day turn around, you need to be real.

They are not just sitting on their hands waiting for you to give them something to do. Add a hurricane and power loss etc and good luck with getting it back in a few weeks.

Whether it is car stuff or guns etc whenever I send one back to the manufacturer I expect it to be 6 weeks to see it back home with me. Put the stock intercooler back on and chill out and relax. Life is too short to stress out over car parts...

My custom built rear shocks from Bitubo for my bikes took 3 months to have them built and shipped from Italy... Similar for my Carbo Tech Carbon Fiber front and rear fenders for my FZ1. Took 3 months to get them from Austria. Both were definitely worth the wait.

Everyone will have good & bad experiences with all manufacturers. But it only takes one to have a snowball effect, and most often times it is very unnecessary.

Also what to point this out. As they designed the TMIC for Gen2, they did come forward and go public in this forum to anounce the release and get ppl comitted to the sell.

Now there seems to be a shroud issue with Gen2, but they never come back to this platform to request ppl sending them in, if they have/need to.

So my point is they got a pretty good sale on the TMIC because they went public (forum) and announce their new product.

@08.5MS3: It's a little irealistick what they are saying: We don't have time to respond to forum. OK, let's give them benefit of doubt. Now if they have 1000 customers, is it earsier to open up a thread and inform every one of them with a public anouncement or it's much easier to start answering 1000 phone calls or answering 1000 emails.

I let You guys do the math.......

Regardless of posts on a message board they will still have to deal with 1000s of calls and emails. Message boards ARE a good way to get the message out there, but not the be all end all solution. not everyone comes on message boards.
Like I said before I'm here to help if you need to get things pushed through AFTER you have contacted them directly.

this is funny, seems u feel like CP-e should be bending over backwards for a 400$ TMIC that makes then almost no money, and repairing it def just sucks up their time...

As far as communication, yes they do have issues, but from personal experience I say its just sales. And by sales I mean, salesmen will say "barring any issues well have it done in 2 day"... most humans hear 2 days, and just sit there waiting

the moment that doesn't happen they get mad... as far as a hurricane, the power outage was the longest on the east coast, so really no one can be blamed for them not knowing when the power will be back on, they probably assumed it would be back on any min...

but ye in general CP-e needs all its efforts to go to R&D, I can see how they might not take too seriously orders on things like the TMIC, since that part is probably almost entirely cost of materials anyways...

With their 3" dual exhaust they were willing to for free weld on a resonator just because I didn't like how loud it was, so for 1000$ exhaust system, they seemed rather accommodating and punctual in general

if there was more companies offering what they offer, they probably would care more, but with all the larger platforms their dealing with, im sure they have their hands full

I have a lot of CP-E bolt-ons and have never had an issue with them. Matter of fact Paula has been more than helpful on many occasions, plus their products are made in the good ol U.S of A.

WOW, hope CP-E doesn't feel/think this way. Your statement reflects the possibility that CP-E embodies one or more of the following traits. Idiots at marketing their products, poor R&D skills, shitty customer service or a poor business acumen all together.

GL with you IC OP.
