Default New intake idea!

Since CP-E has a FMIC, why don't you invent a turbo inlet/intake combo that uses the stock TMIC location for an intake? I know ram air isn't important in a turbo engine, but colder air never hurts. Seems like a valid idea to me, but then again I'm not an engineer.

That intake goes all the way around, why not make it so it comes right over the back of the engine?

Because it's part of a FMIC. Google CorkSport.

Well shit... But this means you have to buy their kit, if a universal one is made that fits all FMICs, the more you could sell!

It doesn't sound like anything really. I have the Forge and this setup muffles it about 90%.

But no I don't have a sound clip.

I had been giving these the eye for a while. It seems like a real elegant solution.

It looks cool, and it seems like it would be functional at high speeds, but it seems really impractical for other stuff. Talk about hot intake air.

It's pretty good solution. It comes with an intake along with a turbo inlet. I bought it from Laloosh and he said he didn't notice a difference when he switched to the CP-e.

It's not a hot intake and I doubt you have anything to back that up. Like any FMIC on the market as soon as you move forward the intake temps drop drastically.

I said before that I'm sure it's great at speed, but you really couldn't pick a much hotter spot in the engine bay to put the intake itself.

Yeah i'm getting a corksport setup because it comes with a turbo inlet too. I'll be dropping my cp-e intake for this.
