Default Possible Cpe nano issue

I am having some issues the the nano for the first gen speed3. The intake has been great and is giving me great trims but it does seem like it has some issues with poor fitment. From the pcv hose having to be nearly forced into place to the silicone not being able to sit flush the nano seems like a rushed product. A combination of the pcv hose along with the mount make for a tight install that just can not line up correctly no matter what you do. I've seen all the pictures from threads here in search and they all seem to be the same. I've had 3 different intakes, they all fit like a glove compared to the nano. No real reason to dig into this too much, we all know how the nano fits. Much like the cobb shifter and FMIC i called out years ago, no one seems to speak up.

Cpe was quick to send me an email telling me about how great their made in the usa products are but when the nano actually arrived it has all sort of scratches and metal flakes inside. With so much care put into making these how could this be overlooked? Of course some of this is expected, but to the extent I had it the housing looked used. Is it normal to have metal flakes falling out from the PCV hose hookup on the maf housing?

Has anyone else had these issues with the nano for the 1st gen ms3?

Got mine used, it fits well, metal flakes could be from the polishing process, I have heard that before. If you think it looks like garbage send it back and get the sure aeros with guaranteed cel included

Part of the reason I has the cpe is because I had to ditch the sure. Any pictures of your install?

The pcv hose is basically keeping the intakes silicone from sitting as flush as it should. There is no real wiggle room with the pcv hose and you sort of have to make up for it by adjusting the silicone at various angles.

I've heard, what is changing? I wish sure and SU luck on the new aeros.

Either way, the nano works amazing compared to the other intakes ive had, but the fitment isn't so great. I've turned the hoses on both and in every way possible and this seems to be just how it is. Everything I could find here seems to suggest that this is how the nano fits. Its not that big of a deal, but for the fame this intake has I was suprised no one really mentions this.

stock tip or aftermarket, because the stock is so stiff(since its plastic) that could be the issue, if its silicone aftermarket then i just dont know.

Mine is a tight fit as well and is in constant contact with my recirc tube (HKS). It runs fine, but the fitment is less than ideal. I'll have to go out tomorrow and fiddle with it. I'll try and snap some pics for reference.
