(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  Socks came to cp-e!! Hi all - Well Sean arrived at my house on Thursday night and we went to cp-e to begin our project. When he arrived we did a baseline. His 355whp dynojet AP tune made 290whp on our in house awd mustang dynamometer. Just as a teaser - we made over 100whp and 100wtq more than what he dyno'd when he arrived and all on our mustang dyno on pump gas with no meth!!! Within the next 24 hours we will be posting the results on our blog. I will make a new thread with the link when we finish the blog entry. I just really want to thank Sean and Bonnie for making a 400 mile drive to take part in showing the community that we have taken do the "wall". Jake |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I look forward to posting the results and seeing everyones thoughts. It did better than any car thats been on CPE's dyno, and better than I expected. Lets just say I am a happy camper. I am fully convinced CPE has just cracked this thing wide open. Here's to 2010. We had minor problems when we hopped on the dynojet. The boost settings that worked so well on the mustang, and on the street, spiked high on the dynojet, and I popped an injector seal. We still got a number for it, but only at wastegate pressure (19psi), and it was VERY impressive for what it was. So I will replace those, and hop on one local to me. I dont know if any of you have ever popped an injector seal, but it triggers the knock sensor, which pulls timing. The dyno came out shakey, but nonetheless posted an uncorrected 428whp, which at 19psi gives much hope for a 24psi clean run.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Let me get this straight. 355 socks local dynojet baseline = 290 CP-e local mustang baseline 355/290 = 1.224 mustang dynojet correction factor 290 CP-e baseline dyno plus 100 gain = 390 390 CP-e mustang max * 1.224 dynojet correction = 477 So ignoring any weather, heatsoak related, differences etc. Socks should be at 477 whp, more or less, on his home base dynojet....... correct? Sorry for the ricer math........ Just making sure I have it more or less straight. Either way, congrats!

if you picked up 100whp on your ap flash dyno by ditching the ap and going with the cpe flash package and standback its gonna cause a damn stampede. ive been on this platform now scratching and clawing for 3 years and this thread is so epic i dont know even where to begin. this changes everything.... for everybody. this makes me want to mod again. this is too easy. | Not Ranked : 0 score great to hear the results, but until we see a track vid/timeslip, it doesn't mean much. could have great peak power, but nothing under the curve and still running low 13's, high 12's. i'm rooting for you guys as well, but details details details. especially because if this is just a flash, we know that the stock pump and internals can handle this (already proven by RR), not sure about 450, but at least 400 safely. |
