Hey newbie... Why don't you send him a message? Don't create threads for stupid shit like this.

Oh, and get an AP. It's better.

You also want ITV22s.

Fuckin' brownies.

Let's keep it easy guys, please.

OP, you will want to purchase this plug listed here, an ITV22 (Denso).
Sparkplugs.com - Application Search Results

If you feel compelled, you are able to cross reference different plug models with the listed information there. It's a helpful tool if you want more options of the same spark plug.

You can always contact me directly at smarques@cp-e.com also.

Unless you have a plug gapping tool, don't worry about it. It is hard to do it accurately with out it.

I think this is a terrible statement to make. If you are doing spark plugs you should always check the gap and set it to the correct spec, especially on these cars. It's not like they are expensive.

I think those plugs come pre-gapped to spec.

Please read what I wrote.

I did not say, "Do not to check gap".

I basically said you should not adjust the gap on iridium based spark plugs with out a gapping tool that will let you gradually bring down the gap with a feeler gauge between the electrode tip and the ground. This is the proper way to gap plugs.

I personally don't like bringing down the gap by "tapping" the ground down closer to the electrode because it leaves the opportunity for bringing the gap too close, then leaving you in a bad spot if you need to open the gap back up. Iridium plugs are very fragile in respect to the electrode.
