Yes, but I wasn't able to get it to torque down all the way due to laying on my back with the car up on Jack stands. It was good and tight, but I never got it to 85ft lbs. it was fine for 4 days till I put it under heavy load on the Dyno.

If you can remove it and inspect it and snap pictures that would help out greatly. PM sent with an email address to send pics to.
We are also curious about what you mean by threaded

Are you sure the bolt is still in there? If you couldn;t get it to 85 ft/lbs then there's a good chance that it backed out. I'm assuming you're talking about the verticle bolt for the horse shoe part of the mount correct? If that bolt snapped or backed out then that would definitely explain the clanking. You should definitely get a look at this asap before the possibility of any more damage to your car.

tbat verticle bolt you mentioned is in there, and is most certainly the problem. Only thing holding it in now is some red Loctite and prayers. Threads are stripped in bolt hole. Helical repair needed. Anyway, mount not failing,
Shitty welded on nut design to subframe is.

As releived as we are that our product wasn't the failure we are still concerned for your safety. PLEASE get this fixed ASAP as we would hate to see any expensive damage to you car done by this and potentially anything happening to you. Keep us updated.

Thanks Rob,
I actually started a thread in the Nator SoCal section to see if anyone has ever done this and has the tools to do it. In the thread I included the same link. I've read through it, and as you've seen the guy that started that thread helped John fix his 2 yrs. ago. John helped me find that thread and helped me verify that the hole was stripped. He put me in touch with Bigriver and he got back to me today. Unfortunately, he doesn't do work on other people's cars anymore. I can't do this job myself as I don't have a drill, the tap tool that doesn't come with the kit, or a lift to put the car up high enough to get a drill with a long ass bit on it into a usable position. So the search for help continues. I'm prob gonna have to pay a shop to do it at this point.

Fix the trilogy of RMM bolt holes for the piece that attaches to the block. But it's getting fixed today by a SoCal Guy called "Eric the Bolt Guy". More info to come on the helicoil repair on the separate thread I have on here:

Found mine used, only reason I got to rock it so quickly. But haven't even got to enjoy it yet due to RMM bolt hole fail. Tonight, we ride!

Sorry for the delay guys. We are having some issues with the CNC machine that makes this part. It should be up and running shortly. We will keep you updated on this when we have a better eta.

You'll be very happy. Fairly minimal NHV for a mount that hold your engine in place so well. You'll def see an increase when you go to being fully mounted. As far as if it's time for you to get the other mounts, you might wanna consider listing the rest of your mods. For instance, if your otherwise stock, doing the other 2 should be further down on your list of priorities. Also, donate.

Edge doesn't have them although it doesn't show it as out of stock... I'm looking to replace my Corksport Race RMM with one and tried everyone and no dice.

Well, I ordered one two weeks ago and they were out and the machine at CP-E hasn't been fixed so either you got lucky or I was unlucky.

I appreciate that very much @The Nut; but I totally understand the guys are not happy about not getting their mounts.

I do know that there are guys who work closely with CP-E who are members of our forum and it doesn't go unnoticed that you guys need your mounts.

The mount really is very nice, although I would be cranky about waiting too.

I recently picked up this mount after removing the JBR 88 which nothing against them it's a great mount possibly the best performance wise I've felt but the NVH was just too much being that I haz vagina mod and cant take the dashboard rattling to pieces. I didn't even get to choose between the black design and the steel which kind of disappointing me but then again I'm glad cause you never see it anyways and I'd be under there cleaning it lol.

this thing right off the bat isn't as noisy and shaky right when you start it up and during toe in it was a bit harsh before break in but now you don't even know it's there. once in a while under WOT at the top end of 1st gear i'll get some wheel hop but thats about it. after the break in you barely even feel it during toe in unless you let your revs drop too much before letting off the clutch

overall I couldn't be happier I'll be looking forward to upgrading the rest of the mounts in the future!!

We reaching out to you in regards to your backorder for a cp-e™ Stage 2 Rear Motor Mount for either the Mazdaspeed3 or the Focus ST. All of us at cp-e™ would like to thank you for your patience and continued support. As many of you may know, we have had some issues with our main CNC machine that mills these mounts. The repairs to this machine have recently been finalized and, pending successful testing, production will begin again very soon. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that we don’t see any more issues!

We wanted to let you know that these mounts are our number one priority when these machines come back online, and we will be fulfilling orders as quickly as possible. With that being said, we are asking for you to help us - help you! We would like each and every one of you to contact us at orders@cp-e.com. We would like you to respond to this email by choosing one of the two choices below:

1. You would like to receive your mount as soon as possible. cp-e™ will skip the anodizing step, and skip the laser engraving step. cp-e™ will send you a raw billet mount that is 100% functional and will not perform any differently.

2. You would like to continue to wait for the mount. cp-e™ will send you a mount once it is anodized black and laser engraved. This will take an additional 2-4 weeks after machining has finished.

Again, thanks for your patience and understanding! Please respond to this email by contacting orders@cp-e.com or calling us at 301-576-6142. If you do not respond to this email, we will fulfill your order as quickly as possible by sending you a mount that is raw billet with no anodizing and no laser engraving.

We will take responses up until April 1st, after which all back orders will be filled with raw billet mounts.

This announcement will also be posted on the cp-e™ Blog, the cp-e™ Facebook, the cp-e™ Section of FocustST.org, and the cp-e™ Section of MazdaspeedForums!
