Stage2 RMM Back order

Good morning all-

We reaching out to you in regards to your backorder for a cp-e™ Stage 2 Rear Motor Mount for either the Mazdaspeed3 or the Focus ST. All of us at cp-e™ would like to thank you for your patience and continued support. As many of you may know, we have had some issues with our main CNC machine that mills these mounts. The repairs to this machine have recently been finalized and, pending successful testing, production will begin again very soon. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that we don’t see any more issues!

We wanted to let you know that these mounts are our number one priority when these machines come back online, and we will be fulfilling orders as quickly as possible. With that being said, we are asking for you to help us – help you! We would like each and every one of you to contact us at orders@cp-e.com. We would like you to respond to this email by choosing one of the two choices below:

1. You would like to receive your mount as soon as possible. cp-e™ will skip the anodizing step, and skip the laser engraving step. cp-e™ will send you a raw billet mount that is 100% functional and will not perform any differently.


2. You would like to continue to wait for the mount. cp-e™ will send you a mount once it is anodized black and laser engraved. This will take an additional 2-4 weeks after machining has finished.




Again, thanks for your patience and understanding! Please respond to this email by contacting orders@cp-e.com or calling us at 301-576-6142. If you do not respond to this email, we will fulfill your order as quickly as possible by sending you a mount that is raw billet with no anodizing and no laser engraving.

We will take responses up until April 1st, after which all back orders will be filled with raw billet mounts.


This announcement will also be posted on the cp-e™ Blog, the cp-e™ Facebook, the cp-e™ Section of FocustST.org, and the cp-e™ Section of MazdaspeedForums!

UPDATE
For the speed3 RMM we are projecting May 1st to be the date that these are back in stock and shipped out. If you bought from us directly then we have been in contact with you, if you bought through a vendor we have communicated this information with them. If you chose the option for the raw RMM then those have already been shipped out. Anodized mounts will be May 1st. If you have any more questions, if you bought via a vendor, please contact them, if you bought direct we will be more than happy to answer any questions.

@www.cp-e.com; it seems backwards to send someone a product they didn't order (non-anodized, non-engraved) if they don't respond to your email. Wouldn't the correct move be to send those people what they ordered, even if it takes longer?

They have to deal with mail order laws. If the customer doesn't reply in time they either have to cancel the order or ship the product. They could allege that they served notice in plenty of time if the customer was not satisfied. Not a lot of people know about mail order laws but should. the 30 day rule is a big one.

Of course, anyone who gets a raw mount gets a slight discount, right? You save the time, labor, and supplies of not anodizing and engraving. Considering the delay as well, I'm stating the obvious, right?

Yeah glad I got my Stage 2 a few months back. Mount is worth the wait.

First batch has been machined. Anodized ones should be complete soon after

I had an order in with Edge for one of your Triton exhausts. I was told originally it would be 3 weeks. I was ok with the wait, not in a big hurry. But after almost 8 weeks I had to call it quits.

after a LONG 3 month 3 week wait...I FINALLY HAVE MY MOUNT!!!!!! Installing it tomorrow. Cant wait. it is GORGEOUS in person and the quality is, as usual from CP-e, amazing.

Installed my Stage2RMM over the weekend. Coupled with the new Bilsteins, C*88 springs, and WALK, my 7+ year old Gen1 feels better than ever!

I've had 2 other RMMs (70 & 80 duro) in the past and the CPE Stage2 RMM is the winner, hands down! But everyone already knows that, right?

The one downside? I think my shifter cables have been stretched.

Just got mine on Wednesday and installed last night. Stock mount was already starting to go after 30,000 miles.

I was impressed by the build quality. I've got no complaints with the RMM. Some vibes at idle with the A/C on, but nothing that I find to be bothersome. A little bit of vibes starting from a dead stop, but no worse than my old 87' accord. Overall I'm really happy with it. I'd place this RMM right up there with Internals and AP for modifications people should do right off the start.
