| Not Ranked : 0 score the install with the pnp should take close to no time. Our ECU is pretty easy to get at. It will probably take you longer to mount the switch.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Once I install this, what would be everyones recommendation for beginning to tune it? Should I start with just the base 15 and 17 psi maps and get some dashhawk logs to post? If so, what PIDS should I monitor, same ones as others have posted here? All I have right now is the CPE CAI but have a rpmc turbo inlet to install and my CPE FMIC I think is at the powder coaters now getting all stealthed out so I should get it next week. Thanks for any advice.... |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I made 8 pulls total and i thought i uploaded all the ones from my zeroed out 18psi map but i might have been wrong and some might be from the 15psi map. I loaded some from the dashhawk to my laptop on the side of the road so I could make a few more pulls and they probably got F'd up. They were all done within 10 minutes of each other though. I really wanted to get one from 3k to redline but traffic and other factors came into play so i couldn't. If you cant work with those I can log some new ones and ensure I stay on the 18 psi map. At the time I had no idea which light meant which map and I really couldnt tell the difference between the two. They both just pulled harder lol.

| Not Ranked : 0 score So the base maps you guys are referring to are the totally zeroed out maps with 17 PSI that come in the Standback...? I got a CP-E base tune also... I just don't know how safe it would be to run with my mods. According to the notice, only CP-E CAI, DP, and CBE should run this map. I have: MS CAI with straightener RPMC INLET ETS 3.25 TMIC HKS BPV CP-E catted DP CS CBE It shouldn't be detrimental right? I mean its probably a mild tune... Just curious. I'm installing the Standback this weekend, actually all I need to do is route the switch wire through the hood release grommet and plug in the Standback. I'll post a log Monday...

| Not Ranked : 0 score ![]() ![]() OK, so I finally installed the Standback and went for a ride... Everything was fine until!!!!!!!! ![]() My car died... I thought I had blew the engine... There was no throttle responce... The RPMs were just decreasing... I gave it throttle and nothing still decreasing RPMs... Now I was sure my engine was dead... ![]() ![]() Then all of a sudden, I saw lights behind me (it was night time)...I thought it was a cop, but it wasn't, it was a giant flame!!!! I've never seen anything like that!!! It lit up the whole street, I thought my car was on fire!!!!! ![]() Then it went away... I was still decelerating... I slowly gave it throttle and it responded again... I drove it home slowly and parked it in the garge... I'm afraid to turn it back on. Everything seems normal again... I don't know what to do with the Standback now... My car was running perfectly before... Notes to keep in mind. I was noticing that the car was running lean...high 12s into the low 13s. And it was knocking in the low 2.0-3.2. This data was prior to the incident. Oh and my popping, crackling, and burbling from my exhaust went away too... That was so weird!!! I now have zeroed out everything in the Standback other than the boost which I have the primary set on 18 and secondary on 17. I don't know what the hell happened!!! I was running a MAP Jordan gave me to try out. But it seems its too lean or something wrong with that MAP. Laloosh, I need your expertise!!!!

| Not Ranked : 0 score Whats ots...? ![]() ![]() So any idea what might have happened...? Too lean perhaps...? Do you suggest I give the stock ECU a couple of days to adjust itself since I had to disconnect the battery, before I log some runs?

| Not Ranked : 0 score ots=over the shelf u need to log and tune based on your mods... my suggestion is dont jump into things too quickly. i have my map switch with the base map w/ stock boost and zeroed out so i can always switch back and a zeroed out 17.5 psi map. ive been running it for a while just to make sure there are no problems. do one thing at a time or else your gonna get confused as to what is doing what and why its not working. zero every thing out and just start with upping the boost to your choice. do 4th gear logs from 3k-6.5-7k w/ the boost of your choice and post them and loosh can help you from there. tuning is not a simple process, u have to gradually change shit and see what works for your car.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Thanks Jordan has sent me this map to try... I was under the impression he made up something mild for me as a base map to work from according to my mods... But I have zeroed out everything and set the primary boost to 18 and secondary to 17; everything else is zero!! One question regarding the v2 software, why can't you close the stupid tables once you open them? I can only minimize... And do you have to upload the configuration, then upload the tables? Why doesn't it do it automatically? I like v3 a lot better, its so much simpler to work with...

| Not Ranked : 0 score that is just how lou wrote the program....dont worry, im beta testing the new sb software right now and its going to look way more slick and be much more user friendly and have some nice new options/features incorporated. the logging is way more improved and easier to read, there will be tabs instead of having to minimize everything, red/green colors for primary/secondary maps to avoid confusion, etc. that has always been one of my gripes too as well as many others here, just how crude the v2 software looks. the v3 software is going to look very professional soon, just working some bugs out right now...

| Not Ranked : 0 score Yeah, I really like v3 better... I've been testing/playing with it and I did report back a few bugs or small issues. Definitely 100X better than v2.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I increased my boost to 19 PSI this morning. While driving to work, I noticed that on a 4th gear pull that there is a slight delay on power... I noticed that my AFRs upon WOT take a few seconds to reach low 12s where there is a sudden burst of power. Prior to that, you just feel a slight pull, then when the AFRs hit low 12s, BAM she just takes off... I don't know if this also happened at 18 PSI... I will change it back as see... But is this just a need for tuning, is there something wrong, or is this just the nature of the CDFP...? My fuel pressure does hit 1600-1700 PSI at WOT instantly and holds steady. Oh and another quick question... What is the best method for boost control, the configuration page setting or using the boost table?

For me when I use the boost tables its builds boost to slow, when I use the desired boost it jumps up to 20 and stays there for a while then it tapers down of course. But if ya didn't know I run meth too so i hope I helped a lil

| Not Ranked : 0 score Ok, so I installed the Standback today, all 0'ed out and 16psi. Below are the logs. One thing that I noticed is that when I was in 6th, and WOT, it only held a bit less than 13 psi, but the lower gears hit higher I believe.
