| Not Ranked : 0 score My SB is zeroed out other than the default settings in the main section. Is this normal and should level out as my stock ECU resets from having the battery disconnected during the install? Should i give it some more time before attemtping to tune or is this a sign of a problem? I see zero knock during the spike. |

As far as my knock, I've got another issue going on now too. My Synapse is fluttering like crazy too. Aviator had the same problem with his and the SB too. I diconnected the SB this morning and got no knock or flutter in stock config. I just reloaded a zeroed map with only 15 and 17 psi boost control. I'll work on this and then get with Jordan when he is back in the office.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Guys I need some help with my tunes. Just put my cpe ems back in since I finally got myself a DH I have reverted back to stock thanks to a huge FUEL cut runnin on 17.9 I backed it down to 16.9 and moved the boost clip from 13 to 9 I am also somewhat puzzled by the fact that a mean fuel cut doesnt trigger a knock reading but w/e log 1 is the stock 17 psi log 2 is for pure entertainment |

| Not Ranked : 0 score So I'm in the process of tuning right now and I'm getting 1.1 knock in the 5500-5700 range at WOT. Now would I pull 1 degree of timing across that whole rpm range or should it be at a certain point of the MAF. A little confused on the timing thing I guess. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks |

Glad to see your back reading this post. Ill be tuning this weekend hopefully and was worried nobody checked this thread anymore. Now with my current mods, what would you suggest my boost be set at? I was thinking 17.5 to 18...Whats the "downside" to having it set higher? Having it run lean?

| Not Ranked : 0 score I don't see an aftermarket intercooler on your mod list. With the stock TMIC there is a 2 PSI pressure loss across the core (that's how an intercooler that small can work). If you set your target psi at 18, that means the turbo is actually working at 20psi to deliver that boost, and by then it's out of its efficiency range and you're just blowing hot air, not making more power.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Alright first thanks everyone for putting all this great tuning info out there. Right now I am shooting for peak boost of 17psi, tapering off to 16 by redline(stock tmic) and I have got my AFR between ~11-11.5. As long as I do not see knock do I add a degree of timing at a time and see what happens? The car is running great and pulling hard. Once I dial it in a bit more I would be willing to post the file if anyone is interested.
