(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  TMM has separation between rubber and metal? Just got the transmission mount from EdgeAutosport/CPE. Is this slight separation between the rubber and the center hole normal? The discoloring also makes me wonder if this was used already.   And here's my install buddy who desperately wants people to look at his non existent balls:  |

| Not Ranked : 0 score it looks fine. that tapered lip of epdm is just there to keep the bushing close to where it needs to be. once you get this in, it'll tear and shift around a bit, but will still work fine. the epdm is much softer than the metal and the different elasticities will certainly cause the the epdm and metal to disadhere. it is designed to do that. the epdm is solid enough that it will hold the metal insert in place by pressure, not adhesion.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Thats fine it won't effect its performance. Sometimes the rubber with even serarate from the rubber, this is fine also, since the rubber isn't adhered to the center piece. It will definitely not effect the performance though.
