(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Searched this forum, youtube, etc, most I could find is a guy saying he'd get a video of it "when he got a chance" like two years ago, obvi didn't get a chance. Just wondering because I'm not really looking for a fart-can like most exhausts are for our cars, but if it doesn't sound much different than the stock pipes then imo it's not really worth dropping a grand on, ya smell. Just a lower pitched tone is my target. thanxXx bbys.

| I'd like to hear this as well, fwiw even without the muffler I wouldn't say the triton sounds like a fart can. Obviously I'm biased tough, vvv

| Neutral : +1 score ive got the triton cbe but i didnt even know it came with any kind of optional muffler. imho the cp-e is the best sounding catback on the market. i did a lot of research on youtube and whatnot and i figured the cp-e sounded best. very little drone on the highway, nice deep tone, almost subaru-ish. if you look at the picture of the setup it has 2 resonators in that twisty type looking route, where exactly would said muffler go? if you want i can get a clip of it and post it up. lmk! |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I ended up just going with the regular one. I can always weld a muffler on later if I start drowning in my own pussy juice. Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk

| Not Ranked : 0 score you wont be disappointed. def gives you the better tone and will NOT any kind of rasp whatsoever. i just dont see where you could put another muffler in on that without doing some crazy modifications. maybe put another resonator in where you removed the old one? |

| Not Ranked : 0 score We've only had one person order it with the muffler. It is VERY quiet with the muffler, but still offers the great sound when you get on it. Unfortunately we do not have any sound clips. We will try to get them.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Welp just got mine installed. Glad I didn't go with the muffler, it isn't nearly as loud as the videos make it seem. Took me a couple hours, had to deal with seized-as-fuck bolts on the stock axle-back and then had to hammer out the flange on the new one, got dented a bit in shipping and the over-axle piece wouldn't fit. Other notes: - The passenger side sits a bit higher than the driver side, I've heard a few people say this is normal. I did this job solo so I think I'll get someone to help and see if turning the over-axle pipe inward so it sits higher on the hanger will get it aligned. - I went with the "black" tips. They are just a less-shiny chrome finish really, but it should still help the soot blend in ![]() Overall very pleased, sounds great. Thanks cp-e!

| Not Ranked : 0 score Best CBE by far, doesn't sound like rice at all!!! Just can't go wrong with this CBE and the price is great. Also fit perfect and very well built! Just a + all the way around. As a mechanic I see a lot of cheap junk and this is deff not junk. So if you looking for a cbe I highly rec this cbe.

| Not Ranked : 0 score JUst swapped my CP-e over from my parts car to my daily on my GenWon and LOVE IT!!!! Much deeper tone than the HKS I used to have and a tamer idle. Install was a breeze as well. Didn't even have to drop the cross brace like you do the HKS and took a whole 15 minutes from car in the garage to car starting back up. Glad I decided to make that switch to the CP-e.

Love this exhaust, I've even had someone ask if it's a V8. Seriously. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2D6tr-a_89Q
