can this be verified with someone from protege garage that it fits on a ms3 with the tmic or if the user is using a fmic?

I'm not 100% sure, but it looks like the TMIC cover is still installed (That or a painted ETS[AutoEXE?])... check the image in the o.p., bottom left corner you can see it.
