WTF Customer Service from cp-e

Emailed about alternative shipping options to Canada (like Fedex) since the only choice was USPS and that usually comes with some hefty customs/brokerage fees. The response?

"You like fedex because the customs and brokerage fees bounce back to us if they are not paid by you. same with ups. That is why we use usps."

its one thing to politely explain the circumstances of the different shipping methods but Josh doesn't need to be on the other end of a customer service e-mail for sure.

Dear customer:

We understand that you incur more charges shipping USPS because they charge back to you. The opposite is true when using Fedex and UPS, those charges are placed back on us. The charges apply with either shipping method and if you prefer Fedex or UPS we are happy to use those services but we will need to increase the cost of shipping to cover the additional charges.

Let me know how you wish to proceed.

Yep, tired and blind tonight. Didn't see the USPS thing. My bad. On the flip side Cp-e always takes the high road. Example: they close threads instead of getting into pissing matches and such. Paula has always been promp and curteous thru emails with me. This isn't their style. Still wanna see original email. Op isn't vip and has 12 posts. It's sketchy at best.

Sorta, maybe, not really. I've bought all their products that I see value in. I need a clutch and FMIC but when I buy it won't say cp-e on it. Overpriced IMO.

For the record I would gladly pay more to ship via Fedex. For whatever reason, I've never had to pay border fees when using them. UPS and USPS are a different story though, which is why I asked. Also I tried JRP already, they don't even have the HPFP listed on their site and most other CP-E products are out of stock.

Don't want to speak for anybody but I took it as fed ex and UPS kick the fees back to the sender where usps sends the bill to the recipient.

Cp-e just needs to stop selling product themselves period. They should just let distributors like EDGE handle their product. They do themselves more harm than good with emails like this. Where is this guy Chewy they hired? Never seen him post yet.

When i see CPe talking about improvement of customer service last week, then seeing all of these posts the last few days, i wonder...

I see product going out the door packed with no pride or care for a customer overseas, where you would most likely want to make a huge impression.

Sorry, but this is just unacceptable in business today.

Seeing the main representative of the business sending out unprofessional responses to customers will kill your business.

How many times do we want to tell people to go fuck themselves when dealing with customers in other jobs? But do you? Hell no. I think that response could of been worded more professionally.

At the rate cp-e is alienating customers with unprofessional emails and poor quality control the job would be a "temp" job. They won't be around much longer with their present business model. It's a shame because they have awesome machining and implementation potential.

I ordered the cpe HKS bov from edge and when we opened the box up there wasnt a heli hose inside, even though it was marked on the check list. So Eric and JP opened the other three they hand on hand with no heli hoses also. No biggy I know JP and Eric will take care of it and set it straight with me. But the thing that pissed me off about the kit is that the inner ring of the flange was milled wrong so I had to buy a 3P flange. So I will not order anything straight from them, only through Edge!

Sorry you had such an bad experience.

I see a lot more work for our friends at Edge with all these CP-E screw ups... COBB and CS has my business. (COBB stuff from Edge of course).

That install sucked fucking balls!! What should have been 15 minutes turned into hours! Not impressed with much cpe has done that I've seen or had my hands on. The only reason it was solved was JP@edge...other wise it probably would have been who knows how long before Jeremy got that installed.

Well I just had them put the internals and stg2 CP-e RMM in today. Hope my motor doesn't fall out ! lol jk Besides the bad customer service they have this motor mount is the shit!
