(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I have my internals, one step spark plugs, rmm, 3inch tmic at the house. And waiting for my atp down pipe to come in in a week (on back order). Did some logs, right now holding 1600-1700psi on fuel at 16-18psi on boost. I plan on installing all at once, I will be using stock catback, is there an ots map from my ap I can run with all that until I get a custom tune? All stage 2 I see says I need tih (which the previous owner may have put in, haven't checked yet) and says I need an upgraded catback. Any suggestions? Sorry for the long read! |

| Not Ranked : 0 score If you want an OTS before getting a full tune get an OTS map from Freektune or Stratified, $75 & $50 respectively. These maps will be dialed to your exact mods and be safer than the COBB OTS. I wouldn't waste any time putting those fuel pump internals in either, that is your key to success or failure, Gen 1 cars aren't as picky as Gen 2, but still.

Do not put on the TMIC or the DP without them, the more airflow you have the more fuel you need and right now, your fuel pump is pretty close to maxed out (it doesn't take a lot with these cars, gen 1 or gen 2). +1 for the tuning recommendation though. -7184 on internals advice. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I guess I should have worded it differently. How bout, you're stupid if you don't put your internals in immediately, that's what I meant by not wasting any time and getting them in ASAP. Freektune is great, you won't regret it.

| Not Ranked : 0 score but when looking at a tune that would work, you need to know what could really make a change. On top of the list is the air intake size where the maf is installed that must match the tune because it drives everything else. Exhaust: you can play around having any sort of catback and it won't change enoughn to be out of range but as soon as you get a down pipe or you reduce the restriction there, the turbo wastegate tables must account for the changes or you will overboost cut and/or break your engine. (This also include HPFP upgrades requirement) IC setup can play in the game too but it won't drive you near of a towing as much as the above. I won't say a tih wont change anything but the map will work fine if you don't change it. Your tuner won't bother about motor mount, bpv (as long as it is a bpv) and other parts that doesn't change engine power. Fuel pressure will likely read ok during hot summer days because you need less fuel but it is useless for how it will react on cold weather...unless you check it each time you get wot, you'd better change the internals....
