(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Christian emailed me and said that the MSCAI maps had boost pressure specifically raised compared to the 102c betas. He made it sound like the other maps were the same as the v102c's. He said he was especially interested in feedback from those with an MSCAI. He suggested I flash to the latest release map even though I had the v102c beta's.

| Not Ranked : 0 score just flashed to the 102 ms cai map and I got boost cut in second gear. I lost traction and then got boost cut. I did some more pulls and no more cut but I am spiking to 20 psi in second but it immediately drop to 16.X. Not sure about the other gears yet. My fuel trims still need to add a bit more fuel so this issue may have been a one time thing. usually after 100 miles any hiccups I have in the map get ironed out by the ecu so I am not worried about it. Just be careful until your car has time to learn.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Just installed the v102 maps. Took her out for a little drive afterwards. I hit 18psi in 2nd then it immediatley went down to 17.2. Boost stayed around 17psi for 3rd and 4th. Didnt have enough road to test 5th or 6th. My ltft stayed at 0 the whole time and my afrs were at 12.1 wot. Its a little lean but i bet it smoothes itself out after logging some miles on it.

| Not Ranked : 0 score been running the stage 1+mscai 102 all night....so far i like them, an improvement in every regard. ltft's are -1 at idle, 5 under light throttle, 3 under mid throttle-wot. Boost seems to spike a little high 19-20 then settles to 17ish. Id like to see less spike, when the car is hot it seems like it yanks timing when the boost spikes (however i show no knock), but it just feels a little "odd". The stock map seems to have less spike unless u really load the car up. Id like less spike. sometimes when i stand on it and the boost hits high, I'll get one pop out of the exhaust, not really a studder, and i show no knock, just one pop....some1 else mentioned this as well with the older maps, and i had it too and still do.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Yeah I get that some times, and I get the boost spike as well if I floor it around 4k, but I am not holding 17ish in 4th still. Most of the time I am in the 15's. I am thinking the ms cai is holding the boost back still. The new map is pretty sweet though.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I read the map notes while I was loading the Stage2 + MSCAI. It says the boost targets are 18.2psi peak, tapering to 15.5psi @ 6700 rpm.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I headed out tonight to check out the new RSB so loaded S1+ v102 just because. Didn't pay too much attention, but I noticed LTFT in cruise was a point less (-3 vs. -2) than a fresh msf map. At 6K WOT 4th gear timing is 11 vs 12 msf and 13 stock. The most interesting data was it seemed to hold boost longer before tapering at high rpm. Boost was maybe .5 higher, but holding it longer was cool. No knock retard that I noticed. I don't know if the v102 S1+ is FT or not and I officially don't care - it blows past 6K in 4th, so if it's not FT that's a good thing to me. It might have accelerated from sub-3K high gear situations better, but that's not really part of my driving style, just noting it. Maybe even more peppy in the midrange. 3rd gear felt stronger, but might be my imagination. It caught me by surprise though, so maybe something there. Overall, it feels like a natural progression form the msf map, definitely worth living with for awhile. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score ok did some more driving....the boost spike i have is only in 3rd and its bad...if i floor it at 3k its about 20-21psi and i get 1-3 degrees of knock retard for just a monent then boost goes to 15-16. Floor it at 4k and 18-19 spike and no KR then boost goes to 15-16 Then if im a fool and load it up at 2.5k rpms i get 23+ psi, audible detonation (only did this once...eek). In 4th gear however i get ZERO spike at all from ANY rpm....it snaps to 17 holds for a moment and then goes to 15-16 and holds that till 6000 plus. WGDC in 3rd from 3k rpms is over 80%, but in 4th from 3k rpms its only 72-74% the map is trying WAY to hard to bring on boost quickly in 3rd stage 1+ mscai v102 ltft's are fantastic but....maybe i should try the SF map?

| Not Ranked : 0 score some1 else see if they get a big initial spike in 3rd from 3k rpms..keep an eye on knock...make sure ltft's are established b4 hand too. i tried the stage 1 sf map and it does it too in 3rd....not as bad tho. All the maps have always had some spike, but i've never seen over 20 until now. oh yea...stock map...no spike...3rd gear 3k rpm's gas it and bam 15 then tapering off. Spools a little slower, but i dont like such a high spike on spool up.
