(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Hey everyone Im curious as to what some of you are putting down with a big turbo on pump gas. Im curious because Im debating on auxiliary fuel. Lets say 430-440 on pump with a slightly aggressive tune then I probably wont bother tuning for E85. Im just curious thats all so please don't flame me . Yes I have used google etc. Thanks ! | Not Ranked : 0 score You need to clarify a couple of things. First of all, there are many sizes of big turbo and will obviously make different power levels depending on their efficiency. What kind of turbo are you curious about? Secondly, what are you referring to when you say pump? You mean only on 93 on stock injectors? Auxiliary fuel can still be pump through 5th/6th port. Pump + meth can also be a way to go that still means you don't need E85. Just trying to narrow down what you want to know

| Not Ranked : 0 score Since you have a built motor, you can really take advantage of the K04 down low. Depends on how you want the power delivered. I make well over 400 ft/lbs from below 3000 rpm up thru 4500 or so. More power than I can make traction for at legal speeds.... Makes for a very fun DD

| Not Ranked : 0 score In Houston weather, with 5th port fueling on both, 4" intakes on both, catless downpipes... you know, set up to make power. The best i have personally tuned is: ATP GTx 3576 W CPE EWG manifold, HTP 4" intake and 5th port, i was at like ... 405, 410 on straight 93. I also tuned a V-band Precision 5858, CPE V-band EWG manifold and he got about 430 on straight 93. Precision T4 6262, 4" intake, 2.5" downpipe dump he was around 420 on 93 pump. The problem with tuning on pump gas is it take a large turbo, and they tend to lack torque (or more importantly, the ability to make torque on pump gas), so even though you make good whp the car still really isnt that "fast" you know. A strong E85 K04 might just be able to take you down with their torque advantage. That being said, i agree with the above. If i could do it all over again i would have just gotten a BNR S3 and never bothered with an aux fuel system and built motor. Probably wouldnt have learned nearly as much, but probably would have had way more fun.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Without auxiliary fueling you'll be lucky to get more than 380 whp on any BT with only 93. I made 360-370 with a GT3071 on only 93 and many considered that exceptional. I'm 430-440 now with Meth as Auxiliary fuel. Do you want a dyno queen or a fast street car? I raced a WRX once that had a precision 62?? that he dynoed at 430 but when we rolled from 40 I would eat him up with my E-85 tuned K04 at around 330. I would jump him so bad at the start that he would never catch up. Bigger turbo equals more lag on the road but on the dyno there is no lag, just numbers. The power levels you're looking for can be made on an S4, GT3071, GTX3071 if you staying stock flange. Get a Precision 5858 and make 600 whp with a ton of aux fuel. I'm stopping at the power level my car is now, GT3071 spools pretty quick and it makes the numbers you want. I'm seeing 430 whp in summer heat so 450 might be possible in cool air, the car is a blast to drive and scary at times.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Hmmmm interesting....I just ordered a BW S257...perhaps I should of stuck with the idea of getting an S4. Thanks for the info ! I meant pump gas with it without 6th port
