(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score not sure what exactly you are asking so here are 2 answers 1: i have an entire transmission from a gen 1, but i have a 2010 speed 2: the gen 1's gearing is shorter (so higher ratios) so if i use the same log in VD but calculate power with the longer gears (or lower ratios) from a gen 2 transmission then it will give inaccurate readings by reading far more power than i actually am putting down because it thinks im going through more gear than i actually am in the same amount of power.

| Not Ranked : 0 score 1. There are already multiple threads about the gearing differences between the Juan and Pu transmissions. I even made nice Excel files to show the redline speed differences. 2. The Juan has the same 2nd gear issues that the Pu has.

| Not Ranked : 0 score My Juan has a Pu transmission. We experienced some jerking in 4th gear at light/part throttle due to the ECU thinking it had Juan gears. Switched the ratios in ATR and all is well. There was a ~25whp drop before we switched the ratios, then everything was normal. I liked the Juan gears, but I'm extremely pleased with the Pu gears. Also a direct swap with zero fitment or mechanical issues.

I haven't read through the thread in a while, but the second to last post in it is Pablo saying that he hadn't figured out a way to do it yet. IIRC, the shafts are different between the gens, so at best there would be some serious machining/fab work to get them to mate up correctly.
