Default Corksport Turbo with Freektune

Had to replace the turbo due to a broken compressor wheel. Went with the Corksport turbo and now being tuned by Freektune. Car is a 2007 Mazdaspeed3, mod list is as follows

Mod List:
Cobb SF Intake
cpe TIP
cpe RMM
cpe HPFP
cpe FMIC
cpe catted DP
HKS 3" CBE
Corksport Turbo
Corksport Radiator Shrouds
Corksport EBCS
Corksport 3.5 Bar MAP sensor
Cobb AP V3
94 Pump gas
55000km on the dot at time of turbo install and tuning process beginning.

I'm not going to be posting the logs from the base map. I will begin with the 1st revision.

Datalog 4 was done on a slight turn in the road causing the lower numbers.

I wonder what kind of gains you would make with a larger diameter intake.

Let that puppy breathe.

Same thing I'm thinking. I'm also curious if 320whp on pump gas and FBO is possible with this turbo. Can't wait for final revision VD results

I wanted to grab the HTP 3.5 intake but couldn't afford to drop that money at the time with the turbo, map sensor, ebcs, and tune. Bigger intake will most definitely be one of the first purchases for next year

Revision 3 came in so here are the logs. Not sure why log1 came out the way it did, I thought it was the best log when I did it but if someone with more knowledge than me can chime in go right ahead! I will say the car may have been a bit heavier than other days as the trunk was a bit more full if it makes any difference...

When the tune is finally done I will do my best to get out to a dyno day and get some proper numbers for everyone.

Keep us posted on the improvement you gain from a 3.5' intake.
Unfortunately I live in a place where cops are nasty when it comes to moding your car.
I kept my intake and cat back stock so its quiet and not noticeable. So far so good, no defects as yet.
Believe it or not, I got booked for having LED fog lights.
Although by just reading and learning from this forum and other sources, I was able to come up with a good power figure which I'm happy. My internal is bone stock.
I'll probably start looking into mixing e85 and ran more timing and boost later on.
Wish you all the best in getting the most out of your ride. This is a really good hobby.
By the way, I ran a CS turbo which led me to this post. With your intake, you should be able to hit higher numbers than me.

Why does your car weigh 3904lbs? The OE specs for the MS6 are 3586lbs...

Took into consideration the wt of my tow bar, tool box, my self and my old buddy who shits himself every time I go WOT.
The tow bar is heavy due to the fact that it was custom built. There are no aftermarket tow bars for this car. This is probably the worst mod I've done to my car LOL.
Unfortunately I use this car for work and I tow a trailer at times and carry my tools. Wish have the luxury of having 2 vehicles.

Sorry I never came back and updated this everyone, life happens.

I don't have access to V Dyno so I won't be posting the final graphs. The logs are attached however.

According to Justin I should be at about 330-340 with 350tq. He believes that I will pick up around 5-10hp from a 3.5 or 4" intake. For the cost of an HTP intake I think my money is better spent elsewhere for those gains.

Car feels wonderful. Turbos been in for about 2500km with no issues. Been driving the car pretty aggressively and it definitely is keeping up. Looking to do a track day later this month so we'll see how she does there!

I don't have access to V Dyno so I won't be posting the final graphs. The logs are attached however.

looking at the logs, you are starting to run out of injector (92) and maf volt is getting high at 4.7-4.8. the sensor will only read to 5v and around 4.9 u will start getting fuel cut, so intake is deff a mod you want to get if you want more power

The numbers/power I have is what I had set for my goals. What I meant is right now my money will be better spent on more suspension parts. Once I get tired of the power I have now then the first thing I'll pick up is a larger intake

I'd like to see some more logs and vdyno's now that it's cooler out, if you've done any.
