Default Dyno results

Hey all, going to apologize upfront for being ignorant on the subject (currently learning what I can).

Long story short my 2008 speed3 had engine work done at a local performance shop and just had them install intake/tip, hpfp internals, and Dyno tune it w/ an AP I bought with them while I was out of the country for a few weeks. Only other performance parts are a catback exhaust.

Anyways here's the results. Not completely sure how this should compare, again sorry for being a noob with this, can respond to any questions!

400+ lbft at just over 3000rpm is a recipe for bent rods.

Oof thanks for the heads up. Should I just go ahead and get a new tune from one the of big names here (freek, purple drank, etc)?

i'd say the dyno is extremely optimistic because average stock dynos are 220-240whp, and there's no way you picked up 80-100whp with intake and tune. that's full bolt-on e85 territory.

look up how to take a WOT data log and you'll be able to see what the tune really looks like.

I was thinking Mustang Dynos read low, but yeah, those numbers seem high for what's in it.

Unless there's something OP isn't telling us.

Makes me wonder if the dyno operator gave him a print out that converts whp to an estimated bhp at the crank. He’s hitting 325 hp on a Mustang dyno with a K04 on pump gas with minimal mods and tune. Not logical.

But if that is whp on a Mustang he must have more mods and he must retune to soften the low rpm torque or he will be throwing a rod through the side of his block.

I could not get to just barely 300 whp (per Virtual Dyno 1.01 correction) until I added a 3” catless dp/rp.

I’d like to see a data log 3,000 rpm to redline from him and run it through Virtual Dyno.
