Default Dyno runs: Renault Megane RS, Mazdaspeed 3 and Focus RS [Pics, dyno sheet and Video]

Hey guys,
Well did a 3rd visit to the dyno to see any improvements on the car. But some friends of mine decided to go too, I wont use too much text since there are already a lot of pics that describe my weekend with the gang, so check this out:

Maybe once you upgrade your fuel pump you get that 1hp you're looking for.

Does the HPFP do some extra HP? I didn't know that.


And yes.. the RS is a torque monster! That shit still spin the wheels on 3rd gear after hitting full throttle and the turbo spools!

I haven't run against the RS now with his ECU tune, but he is doing low 13s without a problem! If he gets some drag radials he'll probably hit the 12s without a problem!

And the elevation level here is above 5000 ft over sea level. So yeah, even with that that time is AWESOME! My MS3 is doing 13.8 at this elevation level.

Imagine a better turbo mani, bigger intercooler, and little more boost..prabaly close to 400 whp stock turbo, If it can do e85 gas, then hell yeah!...and we cant have that fuckin car...Think Ford is scared of that car gettin in the way of their 5.0 Sales lol

And 299 whp 330+wtq is very nice Ganque, your around 5k elevation?? yeah..thats dam good...you be plenty over 300 whp in most other places. so good shit there.

The rs is impressive and your car is prood the hypertech works fine on bolt on cars. Nice power for both cars.

Ganque, a bit offtopic, but looking at your dyno run I think your BPV needs a bit lubrication, your turbo chatters a lot because your BPV it's either not opening or not opening fast and wide enough.

I'll try first to loose it a little bit. I think it might be too tight, cause I didn't re-adjust it after the FMIC install. That's probably it. It got lubricated 3 months ago. But I'll definitely do that aswell.

Any suggestions on the BPV adjustment now that I got the FMIC?

Maybe you're using the pink spring instead of the green one. I tried readjusting mine but I didn't notice any difference, while lubing it did a big difference.
Also make sure you have the right spring, with the stock turbo you should have the green spring.

well, it's one thing when it drops from 430 to 250, and another when it drops from 350 to 170. The power curve looks impressive though, the power is almost constant for like 2500rpm!!

The exhaust manifold glows like a Christmas tree at the slightest touch of the gas pedal, this doesn't usually happen on stock turbo MS3's, so I guess you need something to get smoke of a few good moments before you see the flames
