Default First dyno

Took the speed to a local shop to get a little work done. Ended up leaving with a custom tune lol thus is car life.

All readings done on a Dyno Dynamics dyno (heart freaking breaker) followed by numbers corrected to compare with Dyno Jet numbers (11-13% difference from what I've read)

Intake, Tip, race pipe, autotechs untuned

219Hp/ DJ corrected 247.5
250Ftlb Torque/ DJ corrected 282.5
-----
91 tune

249.5Hp/ DJ corrected 282
290FtLb/ DJ corrected 327
-----
100 Octane Race tune

269 Hp/ DJ corrected 305
330 ftlbs Tq/ DJ correct 372.9

-----

Will post graphs when I can figure out how to get the digital copies

Edit: Just realized I pulled a noob move and posted in Gen 2 forum. Can @Raider; move this to gen 1 please?

Moved.

And if you really want a tune, an eTune will make that roller tune seem stock.

You went with your local shop tune over a tune from a MSF tuner

How much did they charge you for this tune? How many speeds have they tuned?

I went with them because my best friend has known the owner for years. Ended up getting a v3, 3 custom maps, and about 10 pulls and 10 gallons of 100 octane for $725 including tax.

He just tuned another local ms3 about a week previously and showed me the graphs before he started tuning me. I had full plans on going through Freek but the deal was unparalleled.

Good deal sure, just hope it's a good tune. Post some logs.

Did he disclose what kind of tuning he did? Boost targets? AFR? Timing? Probably something pros here can figure out by sharing the map.
