Default My VD and Log

So, things have gotten tight this last month or so. I had to make some choices and I chose to make some quick cash selling my CS TMIC, SURE SRI, and a tons of old protege parts. Everything else on the MS6 has stayed. Leaving the HTP 2.5" TIP, M2 catted DP, Turbo Manifold, 07+ Cold pipe we opened up the pinch point on, CS HPFP, Methanol and AP.

I initially went back to a OTS map from what I had been running. And soon was disappointed and questioned why I bothered, as all I had was a few intake side restrictions from before. So I loaded up the old map and pulled a little timing and boost and did some pulls and then started adding it back. Right now, this is where I am at.

This is my VD plot

And log is attached. Feeling pretty good about it so far. Any input or tips other than buying some parts...

Looks pretty good. My only suggestion might be to make the timing advance more linear, ie. fill it out in the mid rpm range.

I big on pushing it, so I would add some WGD and get a little more boost mid band as well :-)

I notice that the VD was done with Dynojet correction. Has Barnhill (developer of VD) finally gotten the correction factor right?

I know we have all been using 1.01 CF for a long time to make our VD charts more closely reflect chassis dyno numbers. Just wondering. I'm still using 1.01.

oh, Idk. been using dynojet CF all along. They still have it at 1.09. I guess comparing to others here it would matter, but for seeing progress as i make adjustments it should be fine as it is still comparing apples to apples.

Here is the same log with CF 1.01

I've found that MS6's actually turn out to be closer to Dynojet, while MS3's are closer to 1.01 CF.

My bad. Failed to notice it was MS6. Also good to know 1.01 is still the standard CF for MS3.

More Timing and More Boost. Although I think I need to play with WGDC a bit more in the mid-high area, as it dips a bit. But, I dont have much more room to go, so I may be SOL.

Both Runs were done on the same section of road in similar temps (33*F vs 34*F last night) maybe a couple gallons less fuel though.
